I interpret the story more like this: the kids in the rehearsal room are a young Nestor. The father has started drinking heavily after the loss of his wife and young Ironlord's(?) mother. Ironlord finds strength and friendship in the band and a safe haven in their rehearsal room, where he can get away from his destructive home environment. Dad realizes how important music is to his son and tries to clean up his act and be a supportive parent. He also passes on his guitar to his son, hoping that he can follow his dreams.
Bonus trivia: the note in the guitar case says "From dad (19)-86" in swedish. I think the scribble in the end of it says "Kent". The tomb stone says "Anita Mörck". The priest who's the antagonist in the "1989" and "On the run" videos is named Bror Mörck. Are they related somehow?
I love the Nestor album Kids In The Ghost Town. This song is one of three new songs on the deluxe edition of Kids In The Ghost Town to be released via Napalm Records on September 30th 2022. Such a catchy song just as the whole album. Love the 80's sound.
Nestor play a miraculous mix of Kiss, Journey, Survivor(yeaaah!), NightFlightOrchestra(I guess they produced this album) and misknown cult-heroes Aviator !!

The question is if Napalm Recs got as much potential as Nestor clearly shows to back the band up as it deserves. Amazing new song. Amazing band.

Wow I will get the deluxe now they are on Napalm. The original is harder to find and quite expensive.
