A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.

A: I worked in Marketing and PR but I am currently focusing on my vlog full time.

Yes, pretty much daily! I know that sounds sad but I find other ones not as good. I've got 2 young kids and i own a small business so I need all the motivation I can get to clean.

Definitely start getting the boys involved in laundry. I had to help a so many guys do their laundry the first couple weeks of Uni because they didn’t know how to operate a laundry machine. And of course they had no idea about separating whites and colors. They also had no clue about how much laundry they could put in the machine and how much detergent to put in. So many wanted to cram the sheets, towels, and clothes all in one load with no room for the items to move and actually get clean.
My daughter has been doing her own laundry for some years now. I only noticed last week shes been washing all her clothes and bedding in fabric conditioner alone. 🤦♀️. Its not just boys.
My husbend is still like this after many explanations...
Perhaps for under your console table you could have a bench with some shoe storage. This would keep everything neat and tidy.
I do change the bedding twice a week,sometimes I remove all bedding on the same day or kids on one day,mine the next day.Good motivation for cleaning,thanks 😊
I'm a mum of 5 ranging from almost 2 up to 16, also have a 21 year old stepson who stays with us from time to time. As you can imagine laundry is a daily battle 🙂 the washing machine is the first thing I do after I pop the kettle on in the morning and I do about 3 or 4 loads a day.... I am a bit precious about doing the laundry myself as I have first hand experience of my 16 year old son popping a few black socks in with the white school shirts on a 60 wash!! But I definitely draw the line at putting it all away or if be forever just concentrating on the laundry!
I do one load of laundry a day too (two adults, two kids (3yo and 6mos) and 4 pets so it just keeps coming!) I wash my sons sheets every other week, typically on a Sunday, as they shower right before bed. Our sheets get washed once or twice a week. One of my least favorite chores lol.
That said, I learned on your channel to put mattress protector, sheet, mattress protector, sheet on our kids beds and it is a lifesaver when they're so little and accidents still happen from time to time.

About age 11, my oldest complained about not having a specific pair of jeans clean. It was the perfect opportunity to teach the complete routine from start to finish 😉 the younger 3 learned the routine even younger. Of course, I had to intervene and teach several things along the way.

I sort by person (my son’s laundry one day, my daughter’s the next, mine the next, each persons sheets and towels separately etc) My 6 yo has even put his laundry away a couple of times! 😃 My husband does his own 🙌🏼

I do all bedding and towels on a Sunday
I really enjoy watching your videos, they really motivate me. I don't have kids but change ours and the dogs and rabbits bedding on a Sunday. I like to go to bed on a Sunday with everything fresh for the new week ahead!

I do beds when weathers fine weekly
I tend to wash sheets over Sunday and Monday - but try to change the sheets weekly. I think when the kids are smaller you do it more frequently because of accidents - but now that mine are getting older I have to have a schedule or I will forget lol. And they don't care. lol. Oh you have a "wasn't me" in your house too - that's who breaks all the things we have. Oh 29 degrees is warm.I'm shivering and wanting to buy snow gear for 7 degrees here though. And we've had some "feels like" temps of -7 degrees already. Going to be a chilly winter here in Australia.Thanks so much, as always, for sharing! ❤️ Mel

I never put anything on the line, in fact I don’t actually have one. Or a drying rack.
I use my tumble dryer all through the year.

all the laundry depends on the size of the washing machine. I do it separate days unless I'm treating myself to the laundrettes haha. i do my sons every night and me and my partners every two-3 days. love your videos, your so organised and give some of the best tips on youtube. love it. it helped me out a lot as a new mum who stresses about everything haha X

Thanks to you and Jordan Page i am succeeding with home organization for a family of 5 soon 6. I have deep cleaning once a week, full bedding laundry and tidy up on saturdays, laundry is done almost daily, i do family meal planning and prep. I don’t do big batches of food cause here my husband doesn’t like frozen food re-heated. My smallest baby is just 10 months old so, it is pretty hard to move as she is on separation anxiety age.
also my kids are not yet startint school, so i have them all day home. Only my
biggest child will enroll kindergarten on september. 3 months to that, things will get better
For the day i do morning cleaning, evening cleaning as well. I cook daily fresh meals, undortunately not more than 2 meals a day cause i lack of time, i wish i could cook more and bake.

I do a load of washing a day to keep on top of it all, I wash, dry and put away. Then fill the basket ready to do a wash in the morning. Then my extra washes on specific days are:
Monday is ballet stuff/football kits washed.
Tuesday is towels.
Wednesday is kind of anything extra that needs doing on top of my usual load!
Thursday is our bedding day.
Friday is kids bedding day (6 yo, 3 yo and 2yo!)
Saturday is an extra wash of swimming stuff.
Sunday is my one load day as I usually meal prep on a Sunday too! Xxxx
Actually I am following your laundry tips to do a laundry every day/night. I just add the sheets on the laundry routine if I have to. And it was also, in one of your videos I think to schedule the washing of sheets 🤔. It's a huge difference following those tips. It's time saving, energy saving and sanity saving🤣. Kidding aside, those tips are useful for me.
I do all my washing every day. For bedding and sheets normally do them once or twice a week depending on weather x
You have more patience than me when it comes to the sewing kit. If anyone pulled all my threads apart they’d get sore knuckles 😂
I always do the beds on Saturday .I get up very early strip the bed turn my mattress.hoover it spray .leave for a few hours then put my new fresh bedding on .I love Saturday my favourite day of cleaning lol x
Friday is my sheet day and if there is bright sun any day, I surely know it is a sheet/heavy laundry day 😁

We have a very tiny hall and little storage so I have used a 2 unit kallax with the wicker basket draws and we keep the shoes where wearing in there, where a family of 5 so pretty stuffed but it works and doubles up as somewhere for the kids to sit abs out their shoes on 😃

Changing the sheets depends on the weather. If it’s a hot day I am changing everything. If not I’m doing that on different days

Oh my gosh, I love how you combined the mustard yellow pillows with the navy blues and whites in the room. It’s not anything I’d think to do and it made me re-think my color scheme. Im usually too scared to try color so I’ve been staying on the white/gray side of things. Now I’m rethinking some things haha 😆

My daughter has “helped” with laundry since she was a newborn lol It’s the one task we always do together and now that she’s 1.5yrs old she can manage to put the clothes in the machine by herself!! I’m hoping she will able to do it on her own when she’s around 7-8 😀
Cube canvus baskets are big we use cube for our shoe storage
I clean all our sheets on bedroom day which is Wednesday.
My daughters do their own laundry (I have only girls) and they started doing it about age 10. Their laundry gets done Wednesday to Friday and that includes their beds. My laundry gets done on Saturday and Towels get done on Sunday.

I have 5 kids - I do 2 kids one day, 2 another then my son who is 8 does his (with help, dried in the dryer), myself and hubby over 2 days then sheets and towels remaining days. Makes washing in my household much more manageable :)

In our house of four, each kiddo has their own laundry bin and we share one. So generally I check the bins and wash as and when, to keep on top of it. Usually I will just do one bin at a time. If there’s a lot, I will separate into stuff that can be tumbled and do all that first to get it done quickly. I’d definitely say get the kids involved ASAP. You could give each child a labelled basket for their clean stuff and get them to put it away (Jackson could just put his socks away until he’s older).
By doing each persons stuff separately, means you don’t then have to match everything up or work out who’s is who’s.😊

Don’t you have spare linen for the beds? I always had 3 sets of sheets for each bed. One on, one in the wash one in the cupboard, did all the kids on one day then ours another day, then towels etc always tried to have washing done so we could do sport outings on the weekends. Depending on weather washed linen fortnightly 🤷♀️😉🌞🇦🇺
I do my bedding on a Tuesday (work permitting) but I do our bed one week and my sons bed the next week unless needed in between. I do however put our top pillowcases in every week in this weather.

Tend to do bed washing sundays. Unless it really needs it. Our skin sheds a lot so ideally should do it weekly.

It's just the two of us now. The kids are grown and gone so I do laundry when needed. No set time. Our washer and dryer are huge so I really don't have to wash clothes often. Your boys seem so well behaved and your house is so pretty.
