This is the first video I have found, that is actually showing how to use the piping bag. Everyone else just talk about the tip not the use of the bag.
I never knew that you should constantly push down and twist that makes it so much easier.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
I’m so glad it was helpful to you! I share things in my videos that I wish I would’ve known starting out.
I agree, I never could quite figure it out
Just found it today and I agree, the only tutorial I came across for beginners that actually teaches 🤣 thank you 🥰
You are such a great “teacher”. Easy to follow.
Thank you!
Becky, Thank You sooo much for your full explanation of how to use a piping bag and the tips. I usually learn most things the best by doing with a teacher ( hands on) but your tutorial was great and you were thorough in explaining. You are a great teacher !!!!🤗
Thank you so much! I like to teach people the way I would like to learn if I was in their place. I’m so glad it was helpful for you!
I learned to pipe a bag and do the little designs because of your video! Thanks so much
I’m so glad!
@@IcingOnTopBeckysCakeshi mom please can you help me with mixing machine? Am Margaret from Ghana
This was incredibly helpful!! Step by step and visual demonstration is how I learn best. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
So easy! I’ve always been afraid to use the piping bag, because of not knowing how to use it! Thank you!
I’m so glad this was helpful for you and that you’re now piping!
Thanks, this was very helpful. For some reason I never knew why people used the couplers! Now I know!
I’m so glad it was helpful for you!
Wow thank you so very much for your piping tutorial I really enjoyed watching you do the very craft that completes you all the way from Sydney Australia ❤❤❤❤❤
Excellent Video!!! Video was so informative and easy to understand and follow! Thanks so much for sharing your talents with me!
I’m so glad it was helpful to you!
Greetings from London UK. Thanks for your video. Putting this vid on my favourites.
Retired from Carpentry some 5 years now - I fancy having a go at that classic - the chocolate eclair. Going to check this again before I start
I know this is an old video but wow. So informative! Definitely the most helpful I’ve seen. Thank you for going into such depth. Starting is intimidating when other tutorials are so vague. Also thank you for being so considerate in mentioning arthritis. I have EDS which means my joints are very weak and painful. Thank you!!!💖
I’m so thankful that it was helpful to you! I try to create content that will continue to be helpful even years after so I’m glad that it’s still being useful!
2 years is not old for yt. 10 years is.
Wow! Thank you so much! I came here from Amazon before buying bags and equipment needed for doing this! So helpful!
Thank you, thank you!! 😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥

Hi, what are the best piping bags you have found to date?
I only use them on occasion and don't need 1000's of them,
but I don't want something that is junk.
Thanks and God bless you.
Ozo
I use these amzn.to/3P8Xird
Or Wilton piping bags
I am very warm blooded. The cream melts in my hands when I put my hands on the piping bag. The cream comes out more moisty and creamy as I would want it to be… can you please suggest what I can do or use to make the decorations manageable
I would use two bags and place one bag in the fridge while piping with the other. When your bag starts to get warm, place it in the fridge and use the cooler one until it gets warm. I would just alternate between the two bags to keep them cool.

My first video as well! Omg no one thinks of thes things we assume it’s easy. then we try it by guessing and I’m like…noooo I need UA-cam 😂
THANK YOU!!!! Great tutorial!
Thank you!
Great video!! I was using the can bettercreamans it is always to soft. Is there any way I can make that thicker?
Thank you! Yeah, can buttercream can be a bit too soft for piping. Most regular buttercream you can add a bit more confectioners sugar to make it thicker but can buttercream is already very sweet. Here’s my simple American Buttercream recipe if you want to try that ua-cam.com/video/wkzg3FGvbwM/v-deo.html
Im lookinh forward to trying this thankyou
Thank you, very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
That’s really great teaching tutorial thank you so much
Thank you!
Thank you thank you 🙏 you are an excellent teacher
Thank you!
How do you keep the big tip from coming out while you are squeezing it
Make sure that you cut the hole in your bag so that the tip is no more than halfway out of it. If you cut the hole too big the tip will pop out when you squeeze.
I should also mention that not all piping bags are created equal. Cheaper bags tend to be thinner and break more easily and not hold their shape.
@@IcingOnTopBeckysCakes
exactly what I found out recently, although I have been decorating for years..I bought a cheaper version and whoops..tip out so I threw them away. I know you can use those bags without the tips and just cut across end but....
Great video. Thank you
You’re welcome!
I only got couplers with small tips I got larger tips and come without them?
You can buy a larger coupler if you want for the larger tips or you can just cut the hole in the bag and snuggly fit the large tip in without the coupler.
Fantastic work please share more ideas
Thank you!
Excellent video!
Thank you!
I tried making macarons once and failed once I tried piping, I wanna try again, this helps a ton
You can do it!

I’m glad it was helpful to you!

Thanks…. very explanatory
I’m glad it was helpful to you!
Cheap plastic bags...my co-worker who's been in the bakery for 30 years still makes his from parchment paper lmao
Excellent! I’m always running short on time so I usually have a box of piping bags handy 😂
Try silicon. They are washable and no excessive plastic or trash in the landfills.
So did my mom. That has been 50 years ago, though.
I have seen parchment paper used
I've made alot of mistakes but I should've done some research firsr
Mucho blablabla
