Thank you, Rabbi. The story of the sisters was just stunningly beautiful. My mother and 2 of her sisters survived Auschwitz. The rest of the family (7) did not. But the remaining sisters kept each other alive for a year before they were liberated. Again, thank you for reminding us that there is nothing more powerful and indestructible than the human spirit.

"Adam and Eve were created on a Friday afternoon." Had God already parsed time into weeks and gave names to the days? Not mentioned. But since it is mentioned that God rested on the 7th day he must have at least numbered them.
This is year 5784 in the Jewish calendar and what does this mean for the rest of us, the good rabbi asks. Obviously nothing.
The Creator of All, created everything and😊 everyone. You will also have a place ❤.

Day 1 (AKA Sunday)
Day 2 (AKA Monday)
Day 3 (Aka Tuesday)
Day 4 (AKA Wednesday)
Day 5 (AKA Thursday)
DAY 6 (AKA FRIDAY - evening into morning...)
Day 7 ( AKA Saturday)

Each day represents 1000 years of history. Day 1 is years 1 though 1000. Day 2 is years 1001 through 2000, and so on. So right now we are in the afternoon of the 6th day; time to prepare for Shabbat. Day 7 begins at year 6001, though the current fixed calendar only goes up to 6000. Year 6001 begins Shabbat, aka the Messianic era. Though Moshiach can come sooner if we deserve him. So that is what the Jewish calendar means for the world at large.
Also note that God does not need to rest. Then why does the Torah say He rested? I would say that every time it is mentioned that God needs something, it actually means we need. We are to emulate Hashem.
YHVH, a Good, Good Father, leads by example as does any good father. Messiah’s obedience to our Father, was also leading by example…🎉🎶🎵🎵🎵🎵 Praise, Honor, & Glory for His coming Kingdom ❗️🙏

Correct ! That’s the first month of the year of the Jewish calendar marking the exodus of Egypt and the birth of the Jewish nation.
Rosh Hashana is the Seventh month of the Jewish year calendar and marks the creation of all human kind.

Sorry , maybe I'm confused.
I thought on a Jewish calendar this upcoming month is the head of the year.
I thought Sh'mot 12.1-13.4 was God's calendar based on the sighting of the New Moon Crescent , head of the year month of Aviv Barley.
I love God's calendar, it is a beautiful calendar.
