@@Neat.Bourbon I worked late last week when my store had its delivery. The Buffalo Trace was gone before I could get there. But I scored the last bottle of Rare Breed. That's really good stuff. They also had a few bottles of 1792, but since the Wild Turkey was also on my list and funding isn't infinite....
Hey Tanner Happy to see you again , was starting to worry about you. Nice 25,, I would have to say of all the Bourbon that I actually had in 2024 my Top 3 would have to be Russell's 15, Disco #11 and 4 Roses Pick OESK at 11 years and 2 months ... Thanks
Glad to be back in the saddle. Those are some pretty killer bottles and a mighty fine list. You were able to pull the illusive RR15, that topped most lists. Congratulations and now everyone will be chasing the 126 proof JD 14 😅
Cheers Ron! Yeah man, there was a good bit of disparity between the scores and the 3 people scoring with me all had different levels of experience. The blind took ~3.5 hr for us to get through everything, but it was a good time. More content is on the way! 🥃
The coy hills for 2024 vary widely. I was fortunate enough to try mine and two buddies and mine was great, ahead of RR 15 for all of us. Bowman American Oak topped all for me though.
Congratulations on scoring the American Oak! Me and 20 of my friends all missed that lottery, 😂. I can see the 24’ CH having a solid amount of variance. I have 2 21’s opens and my 24’ is not in the same league, but still really good. My rankings were an average of 4 peoples scores, so that impacted some things too.
Agreed. 2024 Coy Hill ranked higher than RR15 for me. Kind of tired of all the RR15 fan boys lining up behind Fred Minnick, not wanting to go against the flow. Won't be subscribing to this guy based on this ranking. GTS ranked lower even if it was a 2023. No love for Smokeye Hill, Blanton's SFTB, and others.
@@DannyD892Honestly, that’s well below what they are selling for secondary. Im seeing the 15 trade for $500-600 lately. Crazy numbers but it is an amazing bottle.
Depending on the proof 400 is rich. I’ve seen secondary ~315 for the lower proofs. I think it’s really good, but 400 in a stretch. Some on the JDSBBPs are just as good.
@Neat.Bourbon Before I got into bourbon, I remember seeing the first CH for 70ish. They had 4 bottles. 139 proof, I think. Wish I could go back and buy all of them.
@ Is it becasue Brown Forman is laying hundreds of ppl off?? Just saw that this morning! If consumers would stop paying secondary prices it would change the prices across the board, and the Distilleries or suppliers need to put prices back to what they were before covid
Great Video with So Many Great Bottles! Cheers🥃🥃🥃
Cheers brotha! It was a gauntlet of a blind for sure! 🥃
That JD Barrel Proof is awesome. And so is the 131 Proof wheat. 1792 has been on my shopping list for some time. I guess I need to go get some.
The regular 1792 FP is good, but the picks are pretty common as well. The last few picks I’ve had really rocked my socks. Happy hunting 🫡🥃
I meant Rye, not wheat. Unexpectedly smooth for such a high proof whiskey.

That must have been a grueling evening 😂 thanks for the video!
Yes sir! Took 3.5 hr to finish the gauntlet, 😂. Fortunately the rye video will only be top 10!
Glad to see you back. RR15 is my favorite. The rest of the list had many surprises

It was all fun though. Cool to get a group of people together and see what shakes out.

Isn’t Fred the reason Smoke Eye blew up. I’ll continue to follow and be envious of his bottle haul videos.
I can't even comprehend how a GTS loses to James E Pepper.
I know the 23’ doesn’t have the best reviews. One of the 4 people rated it a 6.8, which dragged down the average to miss the top 10 for the re-blind.
I have yet to see a RR15 anywhere. :/
Saw it for $399 last week on a California website I trust. Sold out already though
They have 2 local to me in Alabama for $384 would you buy it for that?
@@DannyD892 no, that’s a bit too far over MSRP for my tastes.

In VA the came and went in a few minutes, lol. I was able to get some RR15 bundles when they first dropped. Secondary is creeping up to 515+ now. 🥃
I saw a coy hill for $400. I left it.😢

Where did Coopers 100 being discontinued come from?????
There was a press release about this a while back - I’ll try and look it up.
@@Neat.Bourbon PLease!!! Coopers 100 is in my top 5!!! If its going away i need to stock up!!
@@coopersweat2348- It is nowhere to be found in my area anymore. I used to be able to get it whenever I wanted a bottle.
This would b news to me…
