Im totally on your side man. I have recently paid like 200€ to catch up my igniter, since they bring the biggest rework to sorceress in years to our version like 2 weeks AFTER they give us powerpasses and events. so yea, I basically like my sorc so much right now that I was like "fuck it bro, you only live once, push her up to 1600 and enjoy the class" .. so I looked into the gold conversion, which was pretty high for EUC standards that day, with like 3.5k per set of Royals, which is as high as it hasnt been for a while. My analytic brain sadly made me check g2g prices and I then felt like an absolute doofus for spending the money. I got about 360k of raw gold through the shop, where I couldve gotten more than double from g2g. So yea. Not making "playing the game as its supposed to be, without cheating" feel absolutely fucking terrible, would be a good start. Make that shop more attractive, give mileage points so busting rmters gets even easier and people who actually spend money on the game the intended way getting access to more exclusivity and vanity, it would make a whole lot of things better im sure.
All top players have rmtd. So instead of banning 95% of active high tier playerbase, maybe they could look into as to why people resort to RMT progression.
The ingame shop is a scam, everything significant in the game gold starves players WAY too much and the whole game at this point feels like a marketing scheme.
They know it and they let it slide. they will make some people into an example and that's it. So unless they do something with progression, keep RMTing if u want your game time to have some actual value.
@@kjenstag8172 its just funny to think that for every 1635+ ilvl person you see running around with a lvl 25 weapon and full lvl 10 gems who did it legit, theres probably like 5 of them who rmted for it. Kinda sad how their grind becomes nullified by people cheating and AGS cannot get a grasp on it. Rly annoying
I agree honestly, I feel stupid for using the shop when I could get triple to even 10X what I would get from the shop through a RMT site or other players. Its aggravating and one of the things that makes me contemplate quitting or just saying frick it and start cheating. I have over 6.5K hours and some people are further ahead than me with half to a quarter of the time I have spent. I hope AGS gets their heads out of their ass and starts to facilitate a better economy soon or the game is dedge.
i quit 1 week before thaemane release and it was the best fking decision i have ever done in my whole life
i forced my self to play 12 hours a day for a year , not enjoying 20+ hours a week doing chores for the sake of 1 hour enjoyment end game raid.
the decision was extremely hard to make cuz am already 7000 hours invested if i quit everything will worthless and if am gona return i'll spend the same amount of time to catch up.
But finnaly i had the guts to do it and it felt fucking great , i wish u all the best lost ark players not gona lie when i had 3 alts and less it was the most enjoyment i had in any mmo game facts.

I think if you quit 1 week AFTER thaemine, it would be better. That raid is so much fun, you could have quit right after

Lmao all the beggars popping up as soon as someone says they are quitting, anyway, i quit one week after thaemine release and i also feel so relieved, my days are suddenly twice as long and i dont have to suffer in jails for hours and hours in a game that wants you to be a slave. It's like a new life after playing this for 7 hours per day in last 18 months

I don’t think they can perma ban anymore, since most of the playerbase are cheaters, in other words: banning them means banning a huge chunk of the playerbase. And, the game is very anti-newplayer-friendly as it is, so it’s already hard enough getting new players. Just my opinion.
I love this game. And I play this game a shit ton. With that being said, I'd rather see this game die if it means banning 95% of the player base than continuously play with cheaters and RMTers.
@@valakito93 I agree, AGS/Smilegate needs to see the results of their actions. I love LOA, but something needs to be done. I’m all for the new changes the new director is making, but the RMT/Bot issue has just been going rampant without any repercussion whatsoever, since release. I’m glad they’re taking at least some actions now, but this should’ve happened a LOT sooner, and they should keep pushing.

They did everything possible to make the game unplayable, and now only bots and RMTers remain.
My static chaos bot 24/7 when they arent playing, and they have been doing it for 2 years, and nothing happend to them. Even one when on vacations for 2 weeks and left bot working for 2 weeks straight and nothing happend to him
You can't do it for 2 weeks straight unless they log on manually after maintenance lol

There should be a way to click what you want in shop. If you only want orehas you should be able to straight up buy as many orehas or other material with orange crystals instead of having to buy a pack with other stuff too or have to buy from Mari that you have to wait for resets.
Hi, guys i am player from Ukraine i played eu servers since start, and dropped game for awhile i want to return and i can't find game on steam store i tried vpn but it wont help is there any solution for this?
It's really bad atm. Mat prices has tanked, bots are everywhere, and any enjoyment from the new raids is cancelled out by the terrible expensive progression systems that come after them. All the time people put in clearing the raid only to put even more time losing it all to crappy RNG systems. And their solution is to release raids faster, and all the extra help we get is like chests with 8 leapstones and bags of 60 blue crystals. It's like what's the point?
Worst thing is even if people wanted to swipe, it's just awful like you said.

I spent at least 5-figures in the first year of the game, bought skins, used currency exchange, I had two +25 brel weapons doing all this p2w. I had a few friend I knew used g2g got banned for RMT so I was like they are banning so it's okay. But then I started seeing a lot of players make a new class full +25 everything all level 10 gems... "I've been saving," they say.... since when? KR launch? Then I had some friends quit and they said oh I'll give you my gems. I didn't like them quitting but hey maybe I can catch up without swiping so hard. No, I never got the gems. They sold them to people in their guild. They sold their materials, their skins, everything. So I stopped buying gold and cash-shop materials. No way I can keep up with RMT gold and materials. And it's frustrating because I enjoy this game so much and I grind dailies and raids, I have all built 5x3+1 characters; but I get chastise for no dmg against the people with 25 weapon 2 days since class release full 10s? I remember Breaker launch, there was a guy already pushing sidereal +6 weapon? Apart from clearly having a lot of gold, you can't even level the weapon without grinding chaos and you think they spend 48 hours straight grinding chaos for real???
These punishments are worthless. They need post people's names, what the punishment is, what they did. People need to be shamed. If you stream everyone needs to now you're a cheater. I''ll keep buying skins but really that's it.
I rmted back in 2022 about 1.2m gold total, took a 6week ban for it, no gold loss or anything. At the time rmt gold was about 1/4th the cost of in game conversion.
Quit before Brel hard, miss the game so much, but it wasn’t getting better.

The only thing I'd disagree on is the whole 'the race just sucks, why bother doing it" take. This was the same shit during jumpstart with the whole "it doesn't do enough, or it doesn't really bring in new players why bother?"
Yea, these aren't effective events, but which events are in their first go around? Think about the esport tournament or game convention which all probably looks like crap in their early days compared to what they are now, but all had time to iterate.
If anything, events are probably one of the only things SG/AGS can do to pack their roadmap as we are now just a step behind KR in content and it going to look pretty dry in between those big raids release months. It also allows them to think about something more than just more vertical to fatigue the player base even more.
Those people never had a real work in their life , have no idea what even reality is !! They decide anything by extremes , its super successful if not then its a total disaster , there is no middle ground in their mind , just ignore them as devs in all MMO'S doing.
They pushed content on us so quickly and gave us fuck all extra mats etc. Of course there are going to be people RMTing. Doesn't make it right but does help explain the widespread use of it
The cheating is the only thing that I'm super negative on with this game. Honing in dead zones suck, but eventually they move the dead zones. They don't eventually deal with the cheaters. It's been like this forever. Reward the legit whales, and take greater action on cheaters. The negative gold does seem like a big deal on the surface until you remember they'll just cheat to get around it. Better than the old slap on the wrist they were giving before. But you need to get medieval on them and "put the fear of god" into them or else they're just gonna keep playing you as a fool.
Also I don't know why I'm seemingly directing this comment at AGS--they won't ever read it. But this topic is probably the only one that legit gets me heated. So I feel you on this one Cautty. AGS's inaction probably tilts me more than the cheaters themselves. Because the cheaters are SO BLATANTLY OBVIOUS!

I loved this game but haven't played in 6 months and now I don't think I could return.
Not from catch-up woes (I was properly built supp in 4 of 6 gold earn) but the daily loop just makes me cringe.
Edit: $200 USD a month rookie numbers. I think over the year I spent $6K. Lolz. Kill me

I hate it even more, when a person who RMTs says anything about your gear or DPS in the raid, the audacity, when I spent my time outside a job to farm mindelessly and almost never get an upgrade(because or progress systems have dog sht RNG), this person dares to say anything. SG can ban all they want. Players will keep rmt alive as long as SG keeps milking their own playerbase. How about making fair progression systems and not expect people to cash a new car every new raid? How about making it so you don't need to play 6 mains and still be behind on every rng progression? How about not having gold to real money conversion in the first place? Why not let us reroll engravings on accessories? Why make elixirs so cancerous?
Cheaters are treated like heroes in this game because SG made it so unfair and artificially difficult.

In EU with how easy it is to set up new steam accounts, it doesn't make sense to perma ban these people. The minus gold is the only solution unfortunately... Otherwise they get permabanned and immediately create a new account.
Perma banning only works in countires like korea with how they have to link their accounts to their actual ID.... Too bad we don't have something similiar here.
luckily i quit long time ago, LA economy is beyond saving. bot, rmt, sell bus or bussing-muti account, there are many ways to prints gold unfairly. so the game is fu*king unfriendly to casual players. Only for whales, hardcore or cheater.

Well no shit, Esther 8 when that guy made it was like 100m gold with all the mats in total. AGS doesn't give a fuck, why should players? All my friends who RMTd their way into 1630+ are waiting for THE FIRST list to be filled to give it a try. They are afraid of getting their accounts checked. They know AGS won't check their accounts because to this day, none of them got banned a single time. So why risk it now for a stupid title?
Other than that, your premise about chaos bot/una bot is kinda wrong. People who use those only run it daily to get their dailies and shit done (including on their alts). They don't run it 24/7.
About the piloting shit, I was a hell raider once for a long time. I know most of those names in the clear groups, almost all of them RMT ON TOP OF selling hell pilot services. Almost all hell players know this, it's not a secret. They don't even try to hide it themselves. Only 2 or 3 guys on those lists are legit, the rest should be banned from this game according to their ToS. (Personally I don't give a fuck, this is a shit KR gatcha game and they are trying to make some bucks with piloting. Well okay, good for them I guess.)

I honestly would rather have the leaderboard be empty than it to be filled with botters and rmt. Fuck em. Feels bad for the legit players in some of those groups tho
It's hopeless to hope AGS will do anything to "something easy to track" when there are clearly groups of bots running around in sync'd move, all have random letters names, all have similar skin, all have similar classes, all have similar ilvl, all always stay in same area for 2 years straight. They are totally a joke. I'm not even convinced after TFM bans/penalty because the rest of the problems are still remains in the game.

the game has been out for 3 years now and it almost has the same problems as it had day 1, i dont know how much hopium/copium one could huff and for how long.

Ban every cheater and suspend anyone who plays with them reguarly, Make it so it is frown upon by the community. You should get kicked out of your guild and static if anyone finds out you cheat, because they do not want to be associated with you. I totally get why people RMT. Nothing in the shop is worth $50-$100. Those chests that cost 5500 crystals really should be $5 or $10.
Spending $50 or whatever should without question get a character to lvl 60, 1600+ ilvl, 5x3x1, full tripods, full lvl 9 gems. Instead you get a few more taps 🎉
50$ for that would just make the game more pay 2 win, because you would only be able to play if you bought those 50$ packs... This is a KR mmo, you are supposed to grind...

if AGS wants to combat the problem, take a hard stance against all RMT, not just dumb people who knew they'd get caught and joined the race anyway, then lower the prices of all the shit in the shop so you don't need to sell your childern to the coal mines for a little bit of gold.

@@jamzbraz Ok look at it this way. He has no time in the first place, I dont think any game allows players who don't play the game to be ready for new content day 1, he plays at his own pace and his own time enjoys the raids he wants to do and gets off.

How do you expect people to play the game legitimately when the pacing is whack compared to the cost of progression AND the shop itself being so grossly over priced. The pace is fine if they cut the cost equal to the amount of time lost, but they never did ... combine it with the overwhelmingly amount of fomo people wanting to be on KR but don't want to play in KR, congrats. There's nothing "greedy" about trying to recoup the money they lost from a player who went to an outside source. Permabans sound tough but does very little good. They lose a revenue source or the person just buys a new account if they are really that into the game. The best way to deal with infractions is always increasing the likelihood of getting caught doing them. So if they can continue to consistently catch these accounts and apply these negative values it reduces the likelihood of people going to outside sources for their in game items.
Money they "lost" because their own predatory practices made players make the most rational financial decision.
I disagree on the negative gold thing. For a first action I think it's fine, you give a temp ban and negative gold as a warning then if there's more offenses they perma ban they just have to actually follow through. Also they can't trade or use the auction house, so they can't just RMT the gold right back or at least not right away. Definitely understand where you're coming from and it definitely isn't an unreasonable take to just want them perma'd from the jump. Bottom line they have to be more active and take actions against cheaters more aggressively.

I think people don't see the issue of making these shop boxes cheap. It generates extra materials into the game out of thin air. Then the price of the farmed sellable mats will fall as there are more of them and less need for them. Selling them in the shop is quite questionable in the first place IMO. There are a ton of useless items though. If they really want to make money, they are messing up a lot by creating analysis paralysis for the players using the shop. It's ridiculous

You're saying it's should be a permanent ban because they "cheated" by RMTing. You're saying any crime should mean the death penalty, which is so extreme that I can't believe I have to take it seriously and respond to it like this but that's what you're saying.
Also you're not entirely correct about it being a player controlled market on gold in game. AGS could change the ratio of RC to BC to something like 500:95 and that would make gold cost a lot less. The current ratio of 238:95 makes it high because people aren't willing to sell 5k gold for only 95 blue crystals.
