There is English sound system we used on a private party once: Function One It was an insane loud, ground shattering system, but the cool part was, you didn't have to shout in to people ears and that was amazing, cool and unique tweeter design and dedicated amplifiers from the same brand. more than 10.000 watts on a private party.

i'm glad there's others that appreciate the line arrays for Tomorrowland. PS, I think the new L2s could replace them or some of the stages in the near future. They pack a punch just as much :)

In the mid 90ties, i could hear "my" disco about 10km away at home, when the wind was right, ..... Thunderdome Hardcore. Speakers where piled to the roof, people came from Swiss, France, Germany, Luxembourg, England and pretty much all over the continent. Now it's defunkt after a devastating accident and turned in to a casino.
My experience with L-Acoustics during concert really mind blowing back to march 2023 of Blackpink show how freaking powerful line array of K1 K2 there with pretty loudly sounds and craziness vibration feel
I’ve heard this sound system so many times at live shows. My best description of the L-acoustics sound is that while the overall presentation is loud and much of the music is audible, it just seems to sound more impressive/overly processed to my ears than actually sounding like the song should sound. The treble isn’t always harsh, but it tends to be an artificial or processed sound to my ears. Bass also seems loud and hits you in the chest, but it’s not super defined or deep to my ears. D&B Audiotechnik systems seem to have a tighter and deeper bass, and they seem to be clearer and more detailed in the high treble when mixed right, but vocals/midrange often sound a bit nicer on L-acoustics. Really they’re both good and extremely powerful, but they’re undoubtedly different sounding. If anything, L-acoustics was designed for modern music made with software, where D&B works better for rock and roll and other more traditional 20th century styles of music. Don’t get me wrong, D&B can also sound epic with EDM. I heard a D&B J rig with 10 speakers per side and just 12 of the old B2 subs that shook my entire body from 250 feet back during a Dj set.
I see kids so I think that's "Buurtfeest", the day where people from the neighbourhood are invited to explore the festival grounds before it's the actual festival.

Nope it's a similar Setup, K1 & K2 as Tops. Using only K2 would not make sense (K2 only may be used on smaller stages, and indoor, larger scale is K1 & K2) The K2's usually are on the low end of the array for near/downfill. @@goovy20
No, L Acoustics is better and all my friends and colleagues agree. The KS28 is a top 5 sub on the planet. Only Danley and a Bassboss ZV28 are better. PK could never hope to make a sub sound this good and loud while being pristinely crystal clear. I have personally seen and heard 32 KS28s destroy the PK stage that had 48 of their flagship T218 dual 18” subs. Meyer is the only major pro sub I haven’t heard yet.
@@josiahberry8743 UMF uses L-Acoustics at the main stage at ultra as an example and PK at the COVE stage and cove has wayyyyyy better harmonics/ bass & clarity. The vast amount of festival goeres agree PK is king. Which is why its used at bass festivals like lost lands/ wasteland/ basspod. A mainstage PK trinity setup is extremely expensive which is why most dont go with it.
poor KS28's... and poor bastard at Rentall that has to clean all of them 😂such a pretty setup though, looks and sounds phenomenal (was there myself last year). The only downside I've noticed is, that you don't get a lot of bass on the hill, but that's to be expected. thx for filming

And yes, there are a few speakers on top of the FoH, 2 stacks of Kara II, which are mini-delays, but it's kind of unnecessary, since everything is pretty much the same distance from the main array. It's loud enough to party, but you can also have a conversation if you want.

@@a.b.tapatio5713 FoH means front of house, where the Lighting, effects and sound people sit, the whole show is controlled from there. It's directly opposite the stage, the small "house" in the middle. If you want to know more about festival sound setups, look at some of Dave Rat's videos

the L2s wont replace these huge K1 and K2 outdoor arrays they just arent designed for that

How is the sound from the hill, other than the lows? I ask since there are no speaker towers at the halfway mark on the dance floor.
