I thought I know how to play game like this but TOM made me understand we need ROADs, APPLES, STONE and WOOD.

This seems fun! Light and puzzly in the right balance
Reminded me of an older game, Blueprint Tycoon. Quite challenging, at least to my mushy brain.
Got blueprint tycoon in a bundle for literal pennies never really figured out how to play it lol
@@magicstew45 it is similar to this game in some aspects, like you have to gather primary resources (wood, stone, iron etc) to feed to factories and from there feed more advanced factories, and you have to mind the logistics of paths so it doesn't get clogged, very similar to this one. But there is a more advanced aspect I never really got into, that you can change the internal "algorithm" of a factory so it is faster. And factories produce waste that has to be incinerated. It is a fun game, but very involved.
This was exactly the game I was searching my brain for from years ago!

Oh what an apsolutely delightful game :D I do love Rescorce managment, and this one was no exception, just so calm and relaxing. Also seeing how materials can't share tracks at the same time makes me think of possible ways to make better set ups that are more efficient or quicker, like how placing to blocks to share the same input/output just instantly transfers materials. Along with seeing how in the future you can get trains and such I am very much looking forward to Tom returning to this with the full game, along with giving it a go myself :D

It plays just like the Settlers, but with a square lattice instead of a hexagonal one.

this looks like it plays extremely similarly to The Colonists; also quite fun, but their shared road system is pretty rough to deal with in my opinion
For a "minimalistic" game this sure went deep off into the weeds like wildfire.
