It's year 2018. I'm 23 years old. I have my own apartment, lovely circle of friends and a boyfriend of 7 years, I work in medicine as I had wished, my family is somewhat healthy and well. I would've never imagined I'd be as happy as I am now. I own a lot of it to Tokio Hotel, their music and their lyrics, these four amazing people. I haven't listened to them in a long, long while and randomly stumbled upon this video today. I got shivers. In the desperate times of my teenage years when a lot of things in my life were going wrong, TH gave me strength and hope to carry on to this point where I am today. I'm so thankful.
Aww.. Same girl. I feel ya on that, this band was my everything when I was growing up. My parents were strict af and always fighting eachother or me, and this band kept me strong aswell.. I used to cry because I felt Bill's sadness as my own, because I could so closely relate to the emotion in both his voice and lyrics. I'm glad to see someone with such lovely things to say and such appreciation for this band still as an adult. Many people have moved on, but we still stay. xx Cheers. 🖤

Schade das es so ein Tabu war diese Band zu mögen. Als Musiker hätte ich damals schlauer und mir selbst ein Bild hätte machen sollen. Respekt was die Jungs geleistet haben und immer noch leisten.
Ich bin Fan seid dem es tokio Hotel giebt 19 Jahre um genauer zusein und heute höre ich noch "tokio Hotel ist scheisse"
Nicht viele Bands halten solange und das finde ich bewundernswert. Ich liebe heute noch jeden Song und kann sie auch heute noch mitt singen.
Das Lied geht mir sehr ans Herz da ich wirklich deprissionen und selbst mord Gedanken habe und ich habe niemanden keine Freunde und meine Familie interessiert sich auch nicht für mich.
Tokio Hotel war es die mich davon abgehalten haben zu springen und jedes mal wen ich das Lied heute höre muss ich weinen weil auch wen es verückt klingt ich dankbar bin das sie dieses Lied geschrieben haben und mir damit die Augen aufgemacht haben das ich was wert bin.
Ich wurde auch wegen TH gemobbt, vor allem weil ich liebend gern als 2005er Bill rumgelaufen bin! ;(
Ich finde es schön, dass du die Größe hast dich umzuentscheiden.
Ich habe immer gesagt, egal ob man Tokio Hotel mag, oder nicht, für jede Band ist ein Stern am Musikerhimmel frei.

Will forever remind me of my cousin that jumped in front of train and unalived himself when I was far away from home in Paris for a Tokio Hotel concert... No one told me at that time because I was away, but getting to hear something like this when you get home.. During a time when you yourself were wrestling with such feelings as well.. Always thought it should've been me instead of him. He had such a good future ahead of him... He was born physically healthy whereas I was born with a big physical defect, my future was kind of set in stone because of that. His was not. On the other hand, the absolute horrible(!) divorce his parents went through.. I dont know who would've mentally survived that as a young adult (he was only 20)

Als 14 Jährige war ich ich tierisch verliebt in Bill & hab die Musik geliebt ❤️ Jetzt, 15 Jahre später, als fast 3-Fach Mami bin ich zwar nicht mehr in Bill verliebt 😂 Aber die Musik ist immer noch toll ☺️ So viel besser, als die heutige Musik, wo sich alles gleich anhört!

Das ist so unglaublich, was für Erinnerungen an den alten Songs hängen. Ich habe fast vier Jahre nichts anderes im Kopf gehabt als diese Typen. Sie haben mich quasi meine ganze frühere Jugend begleitet. Ich meine, ich bin auch erst 22 jetzt, aber von 14 bis 18 haben die meinen Alltag bestimmt. Und wenn ich jetzt die alten Lieder höre, dann verbinde ich das einfach mit einer der schönsten Zeiten meines Lebens und dafür werde ich ihnen ewig dankbar sein.

I actually miss this. I got into their geman songs (thought they were dutch xD) when i was 13 years old, now 7 years ago! And they helped me through hard times :) They kind of made my childhood, because of them i met my best friends :) their songs were soooo inspiring, giving me goosebumps, making me happy. Making their own music, guitar, drums, bass,.. Now looking back at them ...i don't think i ike their new style. guess i'm keep watching their old stuff :) i want them to make one more song like 'don't jump' or .. reden or something. yup...I kinda liked them when I was a teenager but after Humanoid their music started to suck big time...at least comparing to what it once used to be.
Agreed with both of you.. I stopped listening to anything after Humanoid because it felt almost like they forced it, and were trying to hard to be ~hip~ and honestly they should have just stayed making this music.. They had such a large fanbase, and their songs all felt like they were invisibly connected in some way or another.. This new music feels nothing like that, not even remotely close in comparison, though I think I did hear a song that sounded like their old stuff. Still.. That is 1 song.. Against many others that didn't sound like the old stuff. I wish they would start making music like they used to..

Когда они были на пике популярности, я прям своей святой обязанностью считала обсирать и их, и эмо, и вообще была уверена, что хорошая музыка - это тяжёлая музыка (при этом меня все равно тянуло к черно-розовому, а я стеснялась блин даже думать об этом 🙈). Слушала я тогда действительно хорошую музыку, но вот идёт 2021ый год, я открыла для себя tokio hotel и плачу под их песни, как будто мне 13, хотя вроде взрослая уже 26летняя тетя :( Лучше поздно, конечно, чем никогда, но теперь жалею что шла на поводу у своей внутренней мизогинии и лишила себя красивых воспоминаний, ведь это был бы идеальный саундтрек для моих подростковых переживаний)
А ещё я совершенно упустила момент, когда можно было с кем-нибудь из друзей обсудить какие это классные песни Т_Т
Я была без ума по Биллу была неземная любовь к нему , так страдала убивалась… годы идут так не испытывала таких чувств никому как к Биллу , невинная любовь без пошлости

Als Tokio Hotel den Höhepunkt ihrer Karriere hatten war ich leider noch sehr jung und wusste davon nichts. Ich habe vor circa 1 Jahr dann die alten Lieder von ihnen entdeckt und habe mich sofort verliebt. Ich bedaure es, dass ich zu dieser Zeit so jung war.
Ich fühle mit dir, dasselbe ist bei mir auch der Fall. Ich habe es damals höchstens am Rande mitbekommen und ärgere mich jetzt darüber...ich wünsche dir trotzdem noch viel Spaß und schöne Stunden mit den Liedern!
Jeder hat mich ausgelacht damals weil ich Tokio Hotel Fan war, aber ich liebe diese Jungs immer noch. Die alte Musik bringt so viele Erinnerung wieder hervor 🙈 die größten Erinnerungen waren die zwei Konzerte auf denen ich war. Eine tolle Kindheit/Jugend 😋 jetzt mit 23 immer noch so toll wie damals
