Selling half of one piece is crazy for this but the Tokyo Ghoul manga series is genuinely amazing. I have to pick up the box sets for myself soon. People only hate on it mainly because of the anime or just the edginess.
This is my favorite series of all time, I've read it about 3 times now😅 Re means king and is a continuation of the first one. It's really good since it completely switches up the pace and shows us the other perspective (investigators).
0:36 :re means King. Also it is the continuation of Tokyo Ghoul. The reason why people shit on :re is just because of the anime. The anime changed and skipped many stuff ftom both series and made all of the anime onlys confused. Season 1 was Meh but follwed the manga (in someway), Season 2 didn't follow the manga and changed the main character's goal and and removed every inspirational moment and absolutley what everyone does makes no f***ing sense, Season 3 and 4 (:re) are canon and tried to salvage the storyline but the anime again fumbled the bag. Is better that you just got the manga. The anine just basically made Tokyo Ghoul look like a Typical battle Shounen instead for what it actually is An Amazing Seinen genre story. The anime even made Every character look edgy when they are not even edgy in the manga.
When people say its ass they are talking about the anime adaptation because they either skipped or changed a lot of stuff so people do not like it at all
Cant wait to hear ur opinion about it in upcoming videos. It’s definitely on the edgy/gory side but it’s not overly edgy to the point of being cringy. it’s more so because of the world it revolves around.
Tokyo Ghoul is beyond a masterpiece. It is legendary. It is significantly better than my third favorite series One Piece and is only barely behind Berserk for me. It’s a must read.

@@Teniz they leave out a bunch of important moments so nothing makes sense. and they also watered down the story so much so it could be more edgy so it would be more appealing to the young teen audience even though it was at the detriment to the story.
