No question the Yamaha PSR-E373 has terrific sounds, Yamaha has made significant improvements over the PSR-E363. If it had a pitch bend wheel, and a better keybed I'd own one. Regardless, you can't go wrong, it's a tremendous value for money. Excellent review of the effects system, good job as always Jeremy.
@@JeremySee Even with the car review videos, you often have myriads of people commenting that this car should have this and that, but they don't get it. It is what it is for many reasons. Also, it sometines is a corporate and marketing decision, and doing such, will detract sales from their more upscale vehicles. The same applies to keyboards. You get an awesome lot of bang for your buck $ or money, compared to years ago, but they need to pay expenses, and become profitable to stay in business. It's like lots of people have powerful and high performance handling and braking cars, but really don't know how to drive them like professional racers, commercial drivers, law enforcement, etc., and often it can be overkill, beyond their ability, and at times dangerous. It's often an ego thing to envision yourself as a great driver, player, or with the latest and greatest. But self promotion is hype, like people who call themselves actors, singers, dancers what not, instead of an aspiring one in training, when they have no training, knowledge, experience, and abilities at that time, or at least minimal. I like the nice performance cars and keyboards, but would not spend the money on super expensive cars that often end up with maintenance and repairs almost much as the vehicke itself. So yeah, people have said the JD-Xi keys are cheap and flimsy, and maybe even the Reface Series. But the PSS-A50 has it and is only $100. I really can't tell much difference. They are mini keys, you can't get much better thsn that. And look what Masataka Kono and Yohan Kim can do with them. I rest my case. It's more your acquired skill that a great musicisn can make even a cheap instrument sound heavenly, like exemplified in the soung about the touch of the master's hand. I bought one of these and this was super helpful. It’s amazing how beautiful the sound from this keyboard is, and this is my first instruction to the DSP features! 🤯
Great video. Bought an EZ300 after your review and I keep coming back for more of your videos. I'm trying to learn the piano at age 45 and I'm enjoying it.
Effects can enhance any voice to make it sound amazing! No other keyboard under $200 seems to have effects that can enhance voices as well as the PSR-E373 does. The Super articulation button is what sets this keyboard apart from other competitors at this price.
I just ordered an E373. I’ve been a fan of yours since 2019, when i wanted to get the E363 keyboard but I wasn’t sure it was a great investment - I got bored of playing keyboard after it and I just got back in to it, so I feel like this is the best investment right now. (the E363 has gone out of stock since 2019 sadly).
My secret saus of keyboard like this was... pedalboard guitar... same price like this keyboard but HUGE DIFFERENT output! all in one pedal board is enough to make huge different of the sound, the reverb delay chorus of amplifier is other option too... Nice play mr jerremy so inspiring
I had to buy this keyboard new unused still sealed in the box from a person as NO store I called for several thousand miles HAD this in stock, and they could not tell me WHEN it would be in stock either!! but i got it in January and i LOVE it! cant read music, no music lessons BUT in 6 months I can play about 120 hymns on it, using 4 fingers (2 on each hand) WITH EASE!! love the 078 voice and 131 flute and 100 air choir, and the GP button also, I LOVE this unit, i play a half hour of hymns every day.
If I am not interested in the DSP side of things (for now anyway) and just want a decent entry-level keyboard to learn how to play - how does the PSR-E373 stack up for a beginner-learner of the keyboard?
Thank you so much and god bless you❤️. But how did you record the playing? This keyboard sounds too low in my DAW and needs a lot of work to sounds loud and clear so I suggested play it like your way to get loud and clear sound and then send it to my DAW. Did you record through the speakers or usb connected to the laptop or what? How to record and get the sound like yours?
Very cool review it’s so amazing 🤩 that for $199 we can have amazing sounds and effects. Also if Yamaha added a pitch bend wheel and two control knob 🎛 it would make it even funner.🤩😎👍
Question, Is the Casio Privia PX-150 still worth it today since it came out in 2012? I found a used PX150 with a stand and bench for $200, but not sure if to get this or a brand new Yamaha PSR E373/EW310. Any advice? This will be my first piano.
Actually I'm also wondering this. I found a used PX150 in my area for $180 but was also considering the EW310. It will be for my cousin who's starting out.
Minus well get the cp with the orange screen. It has the same sounds plusb100 more as the ctx serie keyboards. No effect knobs tho. Me personally tho, it’s awesome for plug and play
hi Jeremy I recently bought the Yamaha PSR 373 keyboard. I am now in the process of getting to know the keyboard. I follow your tutorials to learn about the Yamaha PSR 373. I have a question. When you select the accompaniment function it is possible to know which styles and voices are playing ? thank you very much for your help. greetings from Mexico

Hey there, I really need your help… is there a way to use yamaha keyboard’s inhuilt sounds as a midi sound in FL studio / any other daw? Also i was using my yamaha psr e373 as a midi keyboard with the “ daw inbuilt sounds “ but the output was coming out from my keyboard speakers which i feel wasn’t right. The worse part is …. Now the sound 2 on the synth(concert gr piano) sounds very weird, even after disconnecting the midi cable, i feel it started sounding like the daw inbuilt sound. I tried resetting the keyboard as well but it was of no help ..😟😟

If you used the XG Voices Electric Piano 1, and used DSP SmStOD, it sounds like the PSR-195 Electric Piano, especially add Trio Harmony.
Can't wait to buy my first piano😩
Love this feature, i've had a hard time trying to decide between this and the CT-S1.
I played this keyboard everyday for hours I enjoy this I learn something everyday 😊
I wish there was a way to get the short strings like in Eleanor Rigby. I can't seem to find that voice on my PSR-373.

CASIO CTK-6250 for 110 euros. Worth it yet?

Quick question Jeremy, do you know how to load more styles on this keyboard from Yamaha music soft ? There is the exact model on music soft website.
Do the string voices sustain with a sustain pedal? They don't on the DGX-670
They sustain then fade away
Sound is pretty
we recently bought this keyboard but it doesn't sounds the same as it is in the vedio
Try stereo amplification
Can it sound like a organ
There are 3 good organ sounds 021, 025 and 026
E 463 or E373
same question, please answer jeremy
E463 for louder speakers and more funtionalities its not that better than the e373 bcs actually the e373 has some sounds wich are better than the e463
Just got the 373 waiting for me at home today!
I use my EZ at gigs all time. Not more than the Casio ctx series tho
Distortion on the organ sound 021!
Overdrive amp is authentic distortion.
I bough EW310 at same price of E373, from the Walmart..
Forget the gimmicky effects, I play blues, how do you get a decent detuned honky tonk sound, The built-in one is unusable.
It's not under 200 dollars. Let's get that straight right away.
I bought mine 3 months ago for 198.00 brand new.
among cheap brand keyboards Yamahas have worst sounds
Not trying to be hateful but it sounds horrible, muffled, downgraded. Like watching a video at 240p!! I wish Yamaha will fix this at E473. Add Tyros voices and styles.
