Started my boyfriend’s locs using the crochet method. He has short kinky 4c hair so they locked and stayed very quickly. He’s had locs before (done by his aunt) but wasn’t a fan of how she carelessly sectioned and didn’t give him a nice brick lay (which is what i did per his request). Now, he’s decided he wants them a little smaller. More locs. Your video was extremely helpful, thankyou 🙏🏽❣️

I like how you always naturally have the hairstyle I’m working towards 😂! I already had waves, locs (& wicks), before I EVER had long twists.. My goal now is to grow my hair more with the help of the naturally weight and tension from my loose free hair styles without locking my hair! I hated having my hair locked but loved the concept of the style! I think personally for me twists would hold up better for how I maintain my hair.. I can still take them apart and fully comb out EVERYTHING from the scalp to the tip. Locked was pretty difficult! I wasn’t ready for the maintenance at where I’m at in my life currently with as much as I have to do. You helped me years ago and I even supported by purchasing your tool set for locking hair and took your advice on the branded gel you use! Truly appreciate your knowledge and only expect to see you grow MORE daily with only 24 hours in a day we will achieve more and more without expecting more time:) Love G and to everybody reading along as well!

get your hair two strand twisted by a loctitian. make sure you get the twists the size you want your locs. then keep the twists in for like 2-3 months. after that time youll see that its hard to split those twists back into loose hair. remember tho. IT TAKES TIME with this method. but its a really healthy method for your hairs growth

    • @prodbychoco

Two strand twist your hair, then leave that bih broski! It'll eventually loc up. I started mine in March and on month 7 now, and i think mines look good lol. I personally think the two strand twist method is more for the mid to longer length folk. I grew my hair out 2 years to get about 8 inches of hair before locing mines.

yeah the comments are legit. I grew my hair for 4 years, my mom grew hers for like 10. We both got 2 strand twist and you just leave them in. You can use that crochet thing to speed up the locking process. After a few months they become very very hard to take out. if you decide to take them out, your gonna loose a lot of hair.

You just took your dreads out of a two strand twist , why it didnt look as full .if you had soaked your hair in water it would have expanded so you could get a better look . the length of your hair is still short so the dreads at the top of your head couldnt fill in those spots you mentioned . As long as thats what u like bro .

How do I get in contact with y’all about my order? I paid for priority shipping and it hasn’t come yet. I sent two messages through the website and one on IG with no response. Do y’all provide a tracking number so I can see where the package is?
