@@TheGarageShop200 absolutely! My sister lives down near Murphy North Carolina, so maybe one of these days I can get my butt down there and see my dream cars up close. I'd kill to be a janitor for a day there lol. Or at least a fly on the wall haha.
WOW!!! WHAT ELSE CAN YOU SAY?!? I just recently discovered this channel, and Rhine's FB page. First off, THANK YOU for saving these historic works of art. I agree, it's artwork. And thank you for sharing this with us. If I had to pick my 3 faves, I'd have to say the Rob Moreso V6 car, the Jolly Rancher car, and the Lennie Pond/Harry Gant car, but the Foyt Camaro is right there!! Dude, you are FREAKING AWESOME!!!!
Ty for your pod cast tell the owner of the rhine shop that dale Jr has the car that all the people signed just sitting in his field I was very disappointed to see that on dales channel I think it was a charity all star car but for a one off it deserves better thanks
I just ran across your channel. Thank you for showing all this great history and your interviews are awesome. As a 30 year nascar fan I dig all this and really like seeing the changes over the years. It cracked me up when he said people didn't realize Dale ran the #2 car. I think young people don't realize Jr ran the #8 car much less his dad running the 2. Keep the great videos coming!
Awesome vid. A fan since the 70's, I know about all those cars, except one. This kind of stuff is right up my alley. I gave up on today's Nascar years ago. I just watch vids from the 60-90s, and every so often hit up an ol' museum, just to be near these golden oldies. The Hawaiian Tropic Olds my fave. Got the diecast of it on my bar. Being a Pearson fan, I alway have to explain he replaced Donnie in '80, and of course got his last Cup win driving for Hoss. This is great stuff!!
Totally in awe of this, some great history and Billy is right on top of it all. I did notice some other cars in the camera view that were not spoken about. I saw that old looked to be Galaxie and a Dale Jr car, just run out of time with the others to discuss those or mainly sticking to the 70's/80's other than Adam Petty car which I understand as Billy worked on it.
Good series. It`s nice to see older race cars because we relive a part of are youth when the small things would get us excited and leave an impression.I like the new technology and watch the racing but it`s more or less unavailable for the average guy.
Heck yea that piedmont white and blue, but after all my years in racing I still say the Davey Allison white and gold and black 28 Thunderbird will always stand as the most sexiest, fastest looking, boss status race car
Love the Hawaiian Tropic car !! That was my late uncle Hoss Ellington’s race car - Thank you for sharing this video !! Really nice cars !!
Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed
I live in hueytown so that car is special

he's come a long way from being a teen helping work on a local mini stock in my driveway in cutler ridge. must've been '90 or '91.

He does have quite the collection. We tried to cover all the cars in there, but the ones with a longer history seemed to be more popular.
LOL!! When he opened that garage door, you looked like Indiana Jones when he found the lost Ark!!
Love your videos, man!
Yes, it was kind of like that, for sure. 😁 Glad you enjoy our videos.

My good friend owned and RACED the Rob Moroso Swisher Sweet car. Billy worked on the car a lot before my friend got cancer and sold it to Billy.
