County Seat Spirits (Easton PA), 4K arcade walkthrough & tour, November 2024

County Seat Spirits is a craft distillery bar located inside the Simon Silk Mill live/work space in Easton, Pennsylvania. While from that description alone it doesn't sound as if it would be much of a space to expect an arcade to pop up, the folks from Stroudsburg's Mayhem Amusement Arcade have been making moves to place their pinball machines at a number of places throughout the Poconos and Lehigh Valley, and this is one of their larger installations! So much so that they actually hold regular Monday night tournaments at this location. With a great lineup featuring several modern Stern machines, including the recent John Wick and the rare-to-find-on-location Beatles machine (all connected to Insider, no less), as well as the fantastic Cactus Canyon remake from Chicago Gaming Company, it's definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area and jonesing for some pinball action. Meanwhile, kind of hidden away from prying eyes in the back area is one single, solitary arcade cabinet, and if you're going to guess "It's Ms. Pac Galaga 20 Year Reunion" before I even say anything, then why should I even bother finishing my sentence because you'd be absolutely right on the money.
