I own both. Somebody will say: Don't confuse the chocolate with the s... But...!!!! Pros of djx700 (for me) are: 1) FX: You will say that i'm mad, bu honestly i prefer behringer djx700 fx section. It's less tricky than pioneer djm600 (But i don't care because i don't use those fx with both mixers) 2) Led Lights: Those pioneer djm600 red lights are too scary. It's almost impossible to stay in green without handling gain and eq continuously for all the entire track execution. Where is the yellow alert? 3) EQ: When you kill bass, mid or high frequencies with pioneer djm600 seems like you are turning down the volume, instead with djx700 it just remove "some" acceptable frequencies without altering the volume. 4) If you want to use pioneer djm600 only with headphones you have to turn off the speakers, or connect them into the booth output because you need to have the master slider up 5) Crossfader curve of pioneer djm600 sucks, and sucks much more than behringer because there are only 3 kind of settings and all of them apply a kind of attenuation near the center making it impossible to create a smooth transition, while behringer has a little knob that permits you to fine tuning the curve. A solution (and a lesson i've learnt) is : Forgive the crossfader for make smooth transitions because you 'll never know which kind of crossfader you'll find at clubs 6) Power supply cable of pioneer djm600 is wired inside the mixer while djx700 permit to disconnect (and change) it. Cons: 1) djx700 Material is crappy, from the pcb to sliders, knobs components and so on. I've broken the fx button after few months. If you want to change a broken fader you have to desolder the pcb while in pioneer djm 600 mixer every fader is replaceble easily 2) No XLR output 3) Sliders have not a linear curve 4) rca design is shifted with the channel position 5) Power button is on the rear side. If you want to fit it into a case you have to find a tricky solution
most speakers xlr i think not, mine are standard jack and speakon sockets the xlrs go to your amp , or use a rca to standard jacks from the master out put of the mixer to the amp
I think the guys are being a bit harsh on Dave because this video was needed to warn beginners who we all were and not Jocks from round the block. I bought a Behringer 750 and just outside of warranty the mic stage burnt out so I tried to get it repaired and no one would do it . saying they couldn't get the parts and I should try behringer direct who didn't have a service centre in the UK . so thinking it was just bad luck I bought one of a mate for £80 I had it four months and the same thing happened in a Dance no fuckin Mike !!! The Behr looks exactly the same as the pioneer but like all European v Japanese the Japanese will win every time for reliability. for the love of god pay the extra for the Pioneer you'll be sorry if you don't.
OMG behringer is so shite. who at that company thought it was a good idea to remove 10ish effect names for 99 nameless digital numbers? also a beatmatching indicator?? if you can't beatmatch by ear, find someone who you can learn with. never ever do it visually. you're wasting one of your senses. I played a gig last weekend and unfortunately, i had to (and will have to again this weekend) play with this mixer at the club (now they're all finally opening up again!!) and I was.. shook at the shiteness and the mystery of it. i've played with pioneer and allen and heath. both are much more simpler 4 channel mixer constructors. and better build quality. do not ever buy behringer or the DJX700. ever. if it's in your budget, save up a little more and get a pioneer. it'll be worth it. or.... if you wanna game the system, then buy a behringer and learn how to deal with the shiteness and then when you play somewhere, you'll find the mixer they have an absolute breeze. sorry for the rant. thanks for reviewing/comparing tho! i now know a little more! :)
You need to buy an external soundcard... Like a Native Instruments audio 2/6/8/10... Or maybe a cheaper one, theres some made by American audio, behringer, numark... then setting it up is simple just plug in the outputs from the soundcard into the line inputs on your djx and you're good to go..
Are u serious??, the 700 is a p.o.s compared to the pioneer 600. I carried on watching waiting for u to explain all the positive things the 600 can do.... Im still waiting, total fkn pointless review... Eddy!
Here's a review for ya.. Behringer is a pile of crap after about 10 months. The 600.. I had 15 mins on it and it pissed over the behringer.. End of. Who let this Bellend near this kind of hardware? Oh dear..
¿Es bueno para scratch djm 600?

The sound filters and electronics for handling music are not good quality in the x700 but it's good for budget, but not for recording mixes :(
