Awesome video…Thanks for joining us and helping us celebrate 46 years of this incredible experience. See you all next year. Jeff Omodt, quilter, quilt fan & SOQS Board Chair…it’s on my bucket list and I live here!
Yes, that’s me with your town’s celebrity Dino. I’ve been quilting since 1989 and was lucky enough to visit the 25th show. I’ve taken classes with Jean at Empty Spools Seminars and at Madeline Island School of the Arts…Love her work, love her!
Thanks so much for sharing your visit to Sisters and letting lots of us see the beautiful and inspiring quilts. Could you please share the name/performer of the background music in your video? It's the perfect "soundtrack" for your video and for stitching!
Technically, yes…but It’s only one day and only a few were in full sun all day. Many are shaded for part or all of the day. I’m guessing most quilters would risk fading to share their work. But you are correct. As few as 15 hours of sunlight can begin to fade fabric, especially if it is hand-dyed or antique. I welcome the input of anyone who made the decision to display their work in this or any other outdoor venue.
Lovely video of People Living Life and Loving Quilts! Thanks for sharing!

This piece of music is from the iMovie soundtrack library, and is called “Blue Mountains” by Gabriel Witcher.
Thanks for asking. I was about to write the same question but saw that you had already got an answer. It's a lovely accompaniment
Congratulations to all the quilters.... isn’t hard on the quilts to be exposed to direct sunlight?
