This is my first video in an ultrawide format (versus normal 16:9 widescreen). I would appreciate any comments or thoughts on this (like, dislike, or indifferent) after watching the video. Please share which platform you are on as well. Thank you and I hope you enjoy the video!
Thank you for the feedback - not sure what could be causing that. I just checked both the video file and the upload on youtube and neither has a green bar. Would appear to be a local issue, but not sure if that would be Chrome, a plug-in, or something else.
This is the Star Wars ambience video I have been looking for, but haven't found until now. Very nicely done! The music is somehow eerie and ominous, but also soothing. Just like the Hoth landscape.
been waiting on a good hoth ambience for years, this one is it... i hate to nit pick although when watching on a tv screen the aspect ration is very small, i would appreciate it so so much if you could possibly reupload. with the AR taking up the whole screen. im sorry to be a pain but it would mean alot to me. :)
First - thank you for the compliment...glad you like the video. This ultrawide format is a bit of an experiment, so I'm just collecting data on how people watch these videos and what they think of this format. I do think it suits certain videos well (like this one with big open landscapes), but I'm not settled on anything and can change/reupload in the future depending on feedback. If you are watching on a TV, does the video look the same as if you are watching a dvd/bluray movie with letterboxing on the top and bottom?

Like! Looks great on Safari on Mac.
Seems to be a thin green bar in the top of the video. Other than that looks fantastic. W11 Chrome

@Marauderspath As long as appropriate credit is given then yes that's fine. Glad you are enjoying the content!
He's back with the Star Wars goodness! Great video, thank you! The UW looks crisp on the 70 inch tv.
Would love a new Corsuscant cityscape vid too.
Thanks Eric! I have a lot more Star Wars stuff planned too - thanks for the feedback on the UW!
Chill. Chilly. And Chilling
Definitely love the ultrawide format, great immersion. I'm on a laptop PC, windows 11. Keep up the great ambiences!
Love the taris music from Kotor. That was one of the best Christmas gifts i ever had. Too bad the family i had around me is long dead
Awesome job as always! Thank you for making these videos! They help when my anxiety kicks in! 💜
Thanks Trouble - good to hear the videos are helping!
John Williams is a literal genius

That's the idea! I always try to match the music with the visuals and the overall theme of the video - glad you liked it!
Good Hoth-sounding music; wild..dangerous..unexpected..❤
I love this kind of ambient music when I work, the video is great for me and I thank you for your efforts.
Strong start with Kotor 1 soundtrack :D
