It is adorable. I can see it in white as wedding shower decorations.
Ooh yes, that would be so pretty!
I don't know how on earth you thought of this I walk through the Dollar Tree and see things and I have no idea that there can turn into something so beautiful and clever excellent creativity I'm going to make one
Simply adorable
I've made tiered cupcake plates by hot gluing the clear plates and clear candlestick holders together. $5 total and really cute.
I think I could also see a string of the little LED fairy lights in there - and maybe tint the glass for whatever your next holiday might be . . . This is a great project
I saw this for the first time tonight. I could not imagine what you were going to do with those pieces. I was interrupted multiple times during the video so a lot of pause and re-watch but well worth it. That is so cute. I will be making them as soon as I make my usual run to the Dollar Tree.
It looks just like an old fashioned English gas lamp. So cute!
This is one of the loveliest things I've seen. Wish we had a dollar store in the UK! Our pound shops are nowhere near as good!
Another crafter told me that if you.put your glue sticks in the freezer, you don't get the spider webs!
Luan Cherry
Hi Luan I just came across this channel whilst browsing. A lot of the things used in this craft could be found at car boot sales and charity shops, especially with the Summer coming the items could be collected early. Plus Christmas items are really cheap in the Summer boot sales too.
I agree our Pound shops don’t have as much or as nice merchandise.
Keep on crafting. 😊
Luan Cherry I’m trying that for sure!
Hey, I'm going to try the freezer, never heard that before! Thanks!
Luan Cherry Also if you use a blow dryer on it it seems to take away the spiderwebs
i know how you feel mrs but gonna go into charity shops for alook x
Totally adorable. Many areas of Boston have streets lined with this style old fashion gas lamps. So classy.
Never heard of something black for deco inre to Christmas. Different, cool & impressive.
Just scrolling and found this video boy u are so clever loved the lamp u made .... am going to go and start from your beginning and watch your videos
Yay! Welcome Beauty 💕
When shopping...pick up a couple of turntables...one for spray paint and one for on the table when you are crafting...if you get one you will wonder how you got by without them!
Yes, I’ll have to do that ASAP!
@@BeautyandtheStamper bbn
I will be getting 4 very soon thanks for the tip
What an awesome Tip, I will be getting the turntables, thanks for the tip
Where do you get them and how big should they be?
So cute. This could be painted any color for each holiday.
So true, one of the Beauties shared his pink and floral version on our Facebook page.
Oh..one more idea too...the dollar tree also sells those scented wet bubble beads( can’t recall their “exact” name) ....and those little mini lights work wonderfully with them. First you would center your small light in the dish, and then pour the wet scented beads into ur dish, covering your light...at night it will glow the color of the wet beads you choose. Sorry...I just wanted to add that little idea. 😊
I love it too!!! And yes it does look like one of those light post you see in a snowy village. Thanks for sharing.
I have goblets that I was going to sell in a garage sale but now I'm re-thinking them. Maybe I'll make these lanterns instead. What an adorable, awesome project!!
I really love this crafty Maria
That little lamppost is adorable, and with your instruction video, so easy to put together...Thank you...
Oh, thank you 😊 I’m glad you like it. 💕
I really love the lamp. It could make a nice gift to women with small children. They could us it as a night lite.
I was totally skeptical until I watched to the end. Very Cute Idea!
i would use velcro to hold that strap and the light with the timer on it is even better, no need to touch the shade, thanks for the great idea...sooo cute
i was thinking that too...just a little black velcro dot so you dont have to reglue it each time. Or start the ribbon under the bottom one and attach to the top under the "lid" that can lift off so you dont see the velcro at all. I love timer tea lights. ....funny story ..we used like 40 of them for an event and others helped clean up and didnt shut them off all the way..... so i had tons of boxes of items in my living room...took me a while to figure out where the glowing at night was coming from .....LOL
Great idea
Great project. I could see this lamp in just the plain crystal also as center piece for wedding reception tables. Awesome. Thanks so much! Love it!
Elegant and affordable. Plus, super easy. Knowing me; I'll embellish it.
Yay! I’d love to see your finished craft!!!
What a clever idea. Too cute.
OMG you are so creative! You probably walk into any store and just have an overload imagination of what you could possible create! LOVE IT
Too cute!!! Perfect for patio tables!!! Thank you!!!
Awesomely creative.... And a fun project for me and the older grandkids.
Awesome! Congratulations on building something that you absolutely love out of random things that have a completely unrelated use. That is my absolutely favorite kind of project that makes me happiest of all! Yay!
That is too too cute. Saving it to my DIY Projects. Thanks for sharing.
That would be beautiful with just the Crystal look
Wanna make one for my bedroom I love the way you make things you do a wonderful job
totally cool lamppost! you are so adorable. Love how excited you are by this project. I look forward to see more of your videos. Great job.
This is absolutely one of the greatest DIYever, I'm going to do this for sure.
Instead of the ribbon, maybe use the glue to make an elevated lip inside the edge of the bottom bowl so the top bowl will sit on the top without sliding off yet be removable.
This looks awesome! Very clever!
I am amazed and very pleased at the beautiful piece that you created
Thank you!
This is one of the most excellent crafts I’ve seen all year
Love this little lamp. It is so cute.
+Janet Bowen Thank you, it’s not so little though...lol And it is pretty heavy too. TFW
Absolutely the cutest ever !!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much 😊
Absolute Gorgeousness...add a mini wreath with a red bow to the middle. Thank you so very much for sharing your creations with us!
I just bought a table from my living room to have an area for holiday decorations. This just went in my Christmas wants for the table! Tyfs
Yay! I’m happy to hear this 💕
That's so cute thank you for sharing.
AWESOME....I AM OFF TO THE DOLLAR TREE NOW!!!!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️
That lamp is so cute!
To add a more Christmasy look, you could wrap to scale greenery around "post" and/or tinsel?
What a great idea! Also love it for a friend’s wedding reception dinner at an outdoor venue in springtime. Certainly more than affordable for multiple tables. Thank you many times over.
My pleasure 😊
It would work for several holiday's. Valentine, Halloween, Christmas and New Year's and counting. Love it!!!
Very very cute and cheap... Thanks for sharing and God Bless You.
This is hands down one of the smartest diy's I've seen in a long time. Kudos darlin
This is cute. At first I didn’t understand where you were going with it. But it does look like a lantern! Great job! 💕
+Theresa Rowan TY...I know, I had a hard time explaining it at first, I should have just said it was a lamppost...lol 😃 TFW
I agree! This is adorable. You're very creative. Thanks for sharing.
This is adorable!!! You are so clever. Im going to put fairy lights in mine.
*E6000 is a must for this DIY!!* Since it's glass, it's heavy. Always use E6000 when dealing with glass, or heavy items, OR gifts you don't want to break.
Absolutely adorable! !
+D Hoosier Yes, for a gift, I would use the E6000 for sure!!! TFW
I've seen a lot of crafters use both E6000 and hot glue on glass items. Hot glue for quick finishing and E6000 for permanent hold. Blessings!!!!! 💜
I use Fabric-tac dries clear and bonds good for glass on glass or fabric with glass. Just a tiny amount of hot glue to start the bond. Also chalk paint has a dry residue-it is not good to use hot glue because of the chalk-it wont last. Fabric-tac would work great with chalk paint. But that is what I have found along the years. Everyone does it the way they prefer. Nice to meet you! Miss Jones
+Legacys Little Luxuries Great tip, thank you 😊 TFW
S Hoosier is correct. Hot glue will only temporarily hold this. E6000 or clear silicone glue will work for a much longer hold.
Very cute and simple project! You are a good presenter/demonstrator.
Jean that lamp is just so cute. Take care and happy crafting
Perfect lamp for loved ones gravesite.
That is adorable.. Would be really cute decorated with greens for Christmas also.
Too sweet! 🙋

🙋
Morningflower J. Omg...can you imagine finding a mini Christmas wreath to put on it??
Sarah H
You can make your own wreath for it using discarded faux nettles or the 2" "tip" stemming off main branches in faux Christmas trees or garland. Many people buy larger/beautiful new faux trees on the spot feeling their old one needs replacing, so after Christmas you can see older trees out for garbage. One tree branch has probably over 50 "tip" so that's a lot of tiny wreaths you could make.
I thought the same thing! And sponge lightly an accent with a silver paint to give it patina finish.
2 of these with a candle ring of greenery would look so great on a hall table, console or even as a dining table centerpiece! Thanks for the great idea!! New subscriber.
That is so cute. Be great to use when the power goes out. I love it. Thank you for sharing you crafts.
Love It!!! Looking Forward to doing Valentine crafts with you!!
This is darling. Thank you for sharing.
I love it thanks
I just had to subscribe to you you have such cute things and your so very soft spoken. I could listen to you explain all day. Thumbs up there good.
+reecebuttercup Welcome Beauty 💕 TFW
Beautiful street lamp craft! You nailed it!
Love love love this. I can see a set on a mantel decorated for Christmas
+DeVonna Bullock Yes, imagine a pair of them on either side. So cute! TY
Loved this lamp !!🙏🏼🥰🥰💖💖💖💖💖 xoxo from New Jersey
You are very gifted. So cute!
I have like 20 of those goblets already!!!!
Try yo find a solar light for the inside. Then it turns itself on at night, and recharges all day.
the black paint would keep the solar light from charging is that not true you could if you left i all clear..
Oh my gosh this is the cutest thing ever everybody's getting one for Christmas this year thanks for sharing 👍👍 Merry Christmas to Everyone Watching ✌️❤️😁
I think it would look nice to use as center piece and decorate for different seasons or occasions. Too cute.
I had no idea what kind of lamp you were talking about in the beginning lol. But I do see those lights around Christmas and I love them. So cute!
Super duper cute!!! Love ❤️ it!
LifeAt50&Beyond i
Cute little lamp post!! Love your teaching technique! I'll look forward to many more projects with you!! Thx! 😀
+Rebecca Lott Oh, thank you for your kind words 😊! TFW
One of my favorites. I love it.
You can also just put the top on without the extra bowl. Comes out beautiful to. But love it this way too. Thank you sooo much for this tutorial. Loved it!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing I am so making that this weekend it is adorable and you are a genius for coming up with it
+Monica McGahan Oh my goodness, I am humbled by your words, thank you 😊
BeautyandtheStamper 💖💖💖
+Monica McGahan Awe, thank you 😊
How'd they turn out??
Terri Juanette I’m lovin it I only did one but lovin it so much I’m getting more stuff tomorrow :) how do I send you a private photo? I have to glue still but want to film which is on my sch for tomorrow morning to film 😄
Ooo mini old time cemetery 😍
I love that your crafts are so realistic and you go over what could go wrong! It makes doing them at home easier without feeling like a failure! Lol.
Oh yeah, I love that show my errors and there are a ton of them 😀
How cute is that?! I would have never thought a lamp....such a beautiful lamp out of a goblet and two candy dishes. WoW! Although it’s amazing as it is, one could decorate it according to the Holidays too. The dollar tree sells “mini wire LED lights” that you could wrap around it...or some garland...or small baby’s breaths artificial flowers...the possibilities are endless!
Lovely!
This is GORGEOUS!! I am always soexcited at the Dollar Store!
I would have to go the E6000- OHIO with 17 degrees and colder--hot glue just pops right off. But that is so beautiful!! I'm already having thoughts running through my head of additions to your beautiful lantern, to make it year round. LOVE IT!!! Thankyou.
Oh yes, they would be so adorable year around! TFW
Totally cute! Love it.
Thanks for sharing.
This is so cute! And it wouldn't be hard to change it up a little either. A candlestick might work as the pole.... or keep the goblet and put plastic crystals in it instead of painting it. So many options!
Oh yeah, so many options! Great ideas too! TFW 💕
Very cute,great job.
+Naomi Jacobs Thank you 😊 I was happy to see it came out better than I had pictured in my kind. TFW
This is really cute. im thinking you could do this using one of the spherical candle holders/jars, instead of the candy bowls. And just set the lid on top, i think thatd work well too.
Well done ..you look so pleased with it and rightly so 🌷🌸💐
I love it, too! Thanks! You're awesome!
This so cute . You could also use a fishbowl for the top
I like the idea + tip to use tealight w/ remote for light
Very well nice :D luvd how u put it together. Tfs
It's so pretty, beautiful creation
I love love love this, I made the street lamps for my porch with lamps and the garden solar lights and they are great! Thank you for sharing.
That is cute i did post 🏮 but i use the tea lights that have the remote! Only time i have too open it to change the batteries
+Mama Jones Yes! What a great idea !!!! Thank you! 💕 TFW
BeautyandtheStamper welcome 💝💝
Would you paint all but the 'flame' of the lights black so they look like part of the lantern or just leave them...??
Terri Juanette i would do it both ways! But am liking the way u created that one😍😍
That turned out cute! Perfect to go w all my CHRISTMAS villages
I love this! These are going on my Christmas Table for our family dinner! Thanks so much for sharing, I just subbed and am excited to see more!
