I lived 10 years in Davis. Great town but Most of the population are on antidepressant. Also , Really Hot in the summer. Good place to be for 4/5 years and get out.

The last time I got depressed for no reason, I was in Davis. I loved living there, but for some reason on a random night, you just get depressed af. Not sure why.
"cozy small town feel" bro the population of davis is 68k plus another 35k students. 111,000 people is a little bit bigger than small, alright.

yeah Davis is great although I do have one criticism of the bus system Unitrans. They do very little to coordinate their schedules with people who work and live in Davis unless you are a student. For example they ignore the train schedule , leave train folks stranded by this lack of coordination especially during student break periods. I think if Davis wants to me considered a "Mature" municipality they should adopt a more forward thinking approach to mass transit.

Davis is going to shit recently with all of then new developments. There are more and more people and less lanes on the road now because they had to make a massive fucking concrete bike path wall on mace blvd so traffic is insane. And they just keep building more and more shit, like a new motel down near the target.
