      You should! mokume gane is an awesome technique. You can get so many cool results without having any idea what you're doing.

    The pronunciation isn't "funky", it's Japanese....Mokume-gane (木目金) is a Japanese metalworking procedure which produces a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns that has translated beautifully to Polymer Clay work.
