Too many East Coast former artists turned talking heads in the industry sounded compromised: Cameron, Mase, 50, Gillie da Kid, etc...and then you have a lot of very biased blogs coming from TMZ and Pitchfork, etc.
DJ AK started off sounding a bit compromised but I think he might be alright because even if he is rooting for Drake, I've seen him give credit where credit is due and his reactions have been funny.
So yeah there is definitely an industry bias against the west coast it would seem, mostly because they getting paid off Drake's continued success, and push a forced narrative.

I appreciate your video. I think more people need to be educated on the bay. As a West Coast hip-hop fan I like that today the entire coast as united. Both have contribute so much to the history of hip-hop. Because it doesn’t matter, if it’s in North, Cali or South Cali, no matter what we contribute New York is never going to respect the west like they really should no matter how hard West Coast artist give it up for New York, and give them the respect for being the originator, it feels like we will always have to fight for that I think a lot of us that are fans feel that way.
