Brother Multifunction Printers MFC-L2710 L2730 L2750 Replace the Toner Cartridge

How to replace the Brother Toner Cartridge TN-730 TN-760 TN-2420 TN-2410 TN-2450 TN-2430 for use in Brother laser printers and multifunctions MFC-L2710DN L2730DW L2750DW
- Make sure that the machine is turned on.
- Open the front cover.
- Remove the drum unit and the toner cartridge.
- Push down the green lock lever and take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Unpack the new toner cartridge.
- Remove the protective cover.
- Put the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until you hear it lock into place.
- Install the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly back into the machine.
- Close the cover.

Thank you. You might want to add the recommended "Drum unit Corona wire cleaning is required every time you replace the toner cartridge.(This was printed on my toner cartridge bag)" This is the green slide button at the top of drum unit.

How to do it another way. Press "Menu", select "General Setup" , go down and select "Replace toner", then go down and select "continue" - you should be able to print more now.

While inserting the replaced cartridge, it is not fitting well. I replaced it with the older one and it got fit perfectly but the new one is causing an unknown problem.

If you are sure it's the correct cartridge model, that cartridge is defective. Did you remove all the packaging of the cartridge?

Hello I have an MFCL2710DW and when the original cartridge ran out of toner, I replaced it with a highly rated aftermarket cartridge from Amazon. It did not detect the cartridge. I then tried two genuine Brother cartridges, one purchased from Amazon and the other from Staples. The printer does not detect any of these. The message states "replace toner". Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

What if there is no green lock lever. My cartridge has green levers, but not printer.

or rather the housing for the ink has a green cover, Unfortunately it wasn't;visible until I removed the housing.

The leve could be of another color, especially if it's a compatible cartridge

I made a mistake. I changed the starter toner (30% remaining level) to try the new one with the printer off (dcp-2530DW). After, again i was I put back the starter toner with printer off. Now the status monitor shows 100% BK for the starter toner. What can i do now; Is this serious problem?

Change the toner when the quality becomes low. Why is it a serious problem?

Are you sure that toner cartridge is working? Does that cartrisdge has the chip in the correct position?

@@viandant5 Yes it was working until we suddenly unplugged the printer. after we plugged it in, we got this error and no matter what it is not working!
We changed the toner and the new one is now working fine.

You didnt show how to clean the Drum Wire Corona unit it tells you on the packaging you slide the green tab across then back. *No Gold star for you.*
