Fire!
burn my lips, take a swig for old times sake
Fire!
Touch my heart, bring me back my smile
Fire!
Kill the clock, violence, it's murderous
Fire!
Watch my back, as I fade away
It's my cure, my mind decay
It can keep the dawn away
a losing battle day by day
Firewater!
Fill the Void, come let's play
We can drink the dawn away
this empty pain is here to stay
Firewater!
Fire!
You slowly bleed, lose your mind, a broken man
Fire!
Drink it up, nothing left to cure the pain
Fire!
Once it's through, no one else, they all betray
Fire!
Cut the skin, keep your fears away
It's my cure, my mind decay
It can keep the dawn away
A losing battle day by day
Firewater!
Fill the Void, come let's play
We can drink the dawn away
This empty pain is here to stay
Firewater!
Burn
Cure the pain
Burn
Won't improve
Burn
Slowly bleed
Burn
Broken man
Burn
Kill the clock
Burn
Watch my back
Burn
Slowly bleeding
Burn
Cut the skin
It's my cure, my mind decay

Gotta wonder who were the "nutbars" Chuck was dealing with before Frank showed up...
@@reebdoog1337 Probably the ones in his head. Theory I have about Chuck in DR2:OTR, is that, Chuck was going insane because he saw Katey die when he was trying to find her. Y'know, in the original Dead Rising 2. Then went more insane going throughout the game. So Dead Rising 2 was all in Chuck's head.
@@RageManiac_YT off the record isn't canon, case west is though
so the events of dead rising 2 weren't in chucks head
@@scrumbis261 I never said it WAS canon. I just made a theory on how the events of DR2 and OTR MIGHT be related. It was just a cool theory I had.
Chuck said he’s been dealing with nut bars all day, and he’s on a bike, he just finished killing Leon
I really like how Leon's song was about him being the highest, and Chuck's is about him being the lowest.
Leon's is just the T.I.R. theme, but it fits his narcissistic personality very well.
Firewater is a whiskey btw, its about him wanting to just drink his pain away instead of living his life
It worked, chuck was a great man
@@jamesedleymusic technically, it's the T.I.R. theme with lyrics. The lyrics don't play in the T.I.R. section at the beginning.
Makes sense as Chuck deeply hates himself for failing as a father.
CORRECTION! THIS is the theme that psychos hear when they fight Chuck on the original DR2 :P
I thought normal Chuck's Theme was Kill The Sound and Firewater was Psycho Chuck's theme.

Now that's a pretty deep line about Chuck's battle with booze.
The moment I saw this comment that part played.
TheNathanNS I heard it around that time as well
TheNathanNS oh shit I never actually realised that
One thing I realized when I listened to this song for the first time was that it sounds similar to Metallica's "Sad But True". That song talks about the personal struggle James had with alcoholism so its a good reference, the lyrics fits pretty well.
TheNathanNS This theme sounds...oddly heroic to me yet twisted , perfect for this encounter
I knew I had a right to feel chills when I saw the backpack in the green room! But I did not expect to fight chuck. Though I kinda chuckled when I saw that chuck's corpse disappeared when you killed him. I knew what happened.....he restarted at his last save.
Nah, he just got beaten up, but not killed, that's why
No. He restarted at his last checkpoint.

The term "firewater" became a thing when American Indians did not have a term to refer to alcohol. So some had a slang term of "Firewater" since it feels like it burns the throat while consuming.
I'm an American Indian. Just something for that one person to find interesting.
wh3nderson95 Thanks fella. That's some good knowledge right there. Lol.
wh3nderson95 Damn this song is catchy.
That's true, my aunt actually taught me that synonym for alcohol. I actually call alcoholic beverages fire water to this day because I like how it sounds and I don't like alcohol so it's my way to passively diss it. XD I also have some Native American/Spanish heritage. lol

THE END
The best part is that this song makes a comeback in Dead Rising 4; there's a poolhouse/bar with a jukebox that plays Firewater.
TheChildofAuraReborn LOL am here because I just cleared out the pool house and it was playing and it was so nostalgic
Recently went back and completed DR2. It was much more chore-ish compared to 4... But man Dead Rising 2 got that special charm man, I dunno how these Canadians thought it was a good idea to re-invent the system. =/
We dont talk about that mistake if a game here.
Brodey Welch dead rising 4 is considered one of the worst games capcom ever made even worse than x7.
@Brodey Welch that game is a mockery of what dead rising intended to be. Frank west isnt even really in the game. Frank wests' orginal concept was supposed to be your average american. Not good looking but not bad. Not in shape but not obese. Instead the canadian hipsters that made this game made him buff toned and even grow hair back into his bald spots and made him more handsome....thats not frank west... he literaly looks younger than he did after Case West from DR2 which was set decades before DR4. So yeah.. DR4 one of the biggest mistakes Capcom made letting some no name canadian devolpers take reigns.

I was just playing dead rising 4 and I was in one of the bars clearing it out, and I heard this playing from the jukebox it took me a second and then I was like "wait a minute"
Took me this many years to realize this is basically “sad but true” by Metallica

The Chuck boss fight isn't "real", it's a representation of Frank's lack of empathy. Given that "Chuck" disappears after defeat, and both Chuck and Frank appear in next games (yeah i know, i just can't believe OTR is not canon).
I love off the record. This is probably the saddest psychopath boss and also one of the best themes.
well yeah, unlike most psychopaths, players have gotten to know chuck, so seeing him in this broken state does make you feel bad for the guy since you spent a whole game playing as him

Chuck will occasionally drink Whiskey to heal. You can snap a picture for PP, or you can knock him silly while he's doing this. Hitting him will interrupt the healing, and cause him to drop the whiskey for Frank to heal with. He'll vomit if he drinks Whiskey 3 times in a short period, just like in the original game. He also can throw Molotovs instead of just taunting Frank, though he'll still occasionally do that, and if you think you can just get him stuck, think again, as he can throw two Molotovs to the sides of him as a combo breaker. Otherwise though, he is exactly like Leon.

I love to think how Chuck murdered Leon because he had nothing to lose lmao
It's a curse that this isn't on spotfly
Leon and Chuck are most likely programmed the same, except Chuck has more attacks.
But anyone feel like Chuck was harder?
Even without his extra attacks?
Chuck is Playable in Dr Off the record Sandbox so to me it felt like I was Fighting Myself because I was Playing as Chuck.
One thing I've always wondered... we got to see Chuck as a paychopath, and that was pretty fascinating... but what about FRANK as a psychopath??
Yea, it would be cool if you get to play as Chuck or Nick and find Frank goin crazy, talkin bout his life
maybe he would use his camera flash to blind you and stun you, and just be dr1 kent for most of the battle.
@@corn_dog_guy. yeah, Kent is basically a deranged Frank.
Maybe Frank would crack under the pressure and go back to being an egotistical journalist, only caring about his own skin and getting the perfect shot, lots of "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!?", you know what i mean?
Protagonist: What the- Wh- What is wrong with you!? You could have saved him!
Psycho Frank: And lose the shot? Who knows if I'll get another chance like that? The shock? The Gore? It sells! That's what people want to see, So I'll provide.
Protagonist: You can't just trade someone's life for money!
Psycho Frank: And what if i saved him? You know what'd happen? He'd drag me down, I'd lose my prescious time watching his sorry ass, and he'd still die anyway because HE screwed up! That's just how the world works, you gotta take every chance that shows for yourself, and ONLY yourself.
He just turns into Kent Swanson from DR1.
In all seriousness, I just can't see Frank becoming a psycho. He doesn't have the emotional baggage that Chuck has that could potentially lead him into becoming one.
Plus he's already been through some pretty gruesome encounters already throughout his 72 hours in Willamette, so I wouldn't be surprised that he's desensitized from the violence and death caused by zombies.
But what keeps him level headed is his consistent integrity to always seek the truth. A true photojournalist.
And of course, he's covered wars, y'know.

WE ARE SO BACK
It perfectly represent the 'fallen hero' theme.
I hated fighting Chuck. Not only cause the boss fight is fucking annoying, but to see the hero of DR2 go batshit insane is just really sad. Chuck was my man, and now he’s gone mad because he lost Katey, just depressing man
It wouldn’t be so bad if the game didn’t act like you got clotheslined if you even so much as touched his bike.
I guess the annoying part makes sense. After all, in DR2 we must be pretty damn annoying to go up against for the psychopaths, lol.
It was easy for me all I did was make two laser swords and cheese him with a railing
I loved Chuck's Boss fight because It was way better executed than Leon's. The game giving you a bike Key while trying to make you run over Leon was terrible, any hit could knock you over and Leon world go to the other side of fortune park and come back all the time, dragging the battle way longer than It should be.
OTR Chuck however is way better, you have to Dodge his attacks on foot, he throws molotovs at you, giving you time to hit him If you Dodge them flawlessly, he can regenerate his health and leave himself open for an attack, which If you hit him, he Will drop a drink for you to regain health, and he doesnt take ages to die like Leon. Also his theme and character are Fan-tastic.
They should put a cutscene if Chuck kills you, with Frank killing himself in some way and Chuck saying some dumb pun
Frank's too mentally strong to ever kill himself
Mista J I think he meant accidentally. Like running into a chainsaw or trying to smack a Molotov out of Chucks hand and making it fall down and kill them both.
First Last What about when he was gonna let the zombie eat him on the helipad
JTtopcat That wasn't him killing himself though, I think he just shut down. He very much wanted to live after that part (well, maybe not at the tank part, he might've snapped there)

@TheTrueSouldier Actually "Firewater" also means alcohol which I guess makes sense since Chuck seems to be an alcoholic in OTR.
A man that has nothing left to lose is just as dangerous as a good man going to war. - Myself.

The fact in off the record that Katey died making Chuck go insain was pretty sad for me cause he always made sure she was safe but for this version of dead rising he failed gets me with this song
You can never be a man, if you dont care about family.
And nothing is more scary and dangerous than a man that has nothing left to lose anymore.......
frank has had nothing truly valuable to protect apart from his camera, Chuck put everything he could into saving his daughter
what about his scoop
No one talks about it so I thought I'd bring it here, imagine a Frank West psycho boss. sounds dumb on paper I know but think about it.
after the Willamette incident, you could make an argument that frank could potentially get some PTSD from what happened in that mall, clowns sawed in half, cultists stuffing people in boxes, seeing what happened to brad and now after going downhill ever since then and suddenly having to live that same nightmare again but on a potentially larger scale would probably get to him.
Would be a bit like cliff hudson where he thinks he's in willamette and believes chuck to be a psycho or at least a threat and fights him, not EXACTLY sure how the boss would go down, maybe frank would drive some vehicle or throw things at chuck from some platform but either way, I think it could be an interesting concept.
Like that war veteran guy in the first game
@@silverpheonix2019 yes, that's cliff Hudson.
Ye thought his name began with a C
@@silverpheonix2019 yeah CLIFF..
"Katey needs her Zombrex every 24 hours, right baby?"
Favorite fight and cutscene such a surprise to see chuck as a psychopath in this timeline or what if or whatever off the record is
Its saddening too
Hey! You Get The Hell Away From My Bike!
Well in the mini comic series, it explained that when Frank killed Brock Mason, some military rescue unit found Frank and Isabela. Because Isabela helped Carlito with the first zombie outbreak she was considered a terrorist. If I remember correctly, they gave Frank a choice: Give up Isabela and become some sort of hero or Try to interfere and become known for assisting a terrorist. Something along the lines like that. The comic series also goes over Chuck and Pam's story too if your interested.
Man, if the Guitar Hero franchise wasn't dead this would've been a perfect song to jam to.
Now this is a what if Scenario when Chuck lost Katie.
When chuck is dead he dissapears cuz he is loads his last save
This one's on me *throws Molotov
You look thirsty! *throws another molotov
J
IGNACELL Chuck's melee attack (not his charge attack with the bike) is that he throws 2 molotovs to the sides of him.
Cease with the molotovs!
Looks like crazyiness got to chuck Greene
"Nobody messes with my kid."
JediKnightwing except nick Ramos cause why not
Is nice bike 🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️
Good line
Frank: Don't you care about dying ?
Greene: Worrying about dying won't help katie.......
Frank: 👀;;
Loosing Katey did little good for Chuck’s already dwindling sanity
