Magna, I followed you and Jared for years in your videos and at Salsa congresses. I quit the salsa dance scene the last couple of years after a hurricane Maria (Puerto Rico) and COVID . The itch is coming back and checked out dome of the old videos. I. m glad your still doing your thing. As always, terrific moves.
My favorite part is that nobody dances like magna because she has cultivated her own individuality s as a dancer. All the other women just dance like the herd.
I appreciate the compliment. 🙏I think, for many, it's harder to break out of the box bc of a fear of judgment. I always try to lead by that example and invite my partners and others to approach the dance with a truly free spirit. It's just so much more exhilarating to do what you feel and feel what you do. 💙😊
It's not a box. Magna doesn't really dance to the music, she just has fun with the music. Most female dancers dance to the music and so does the lead. Adolfo is now following becasue she's just doing her own thing.

My favorite part is watching you have fun, you feel the music and are one with it, as well as your partner and your love for the music causes your creative moves which I love....been following you since I lived in the Bronx and partied in the city(Manhattan)and the best spinner hands down!!♡♡♡

Ambos son buenos, él incluso alumno de Eddie Torres, el padre mayor, pero les he visto mejores encuentros... La salsa es un baile divertido que nació en las calles, en las esquinas, es cierto, sin embargo esa sensualidad tácita (no protagonista, pero presente en lo que dure la pieza) también es importante. Entiéndase por sensualidad (en el caso de las chicas) no a quebrar la cola con exageración ni a impostar movimientos de manos, si no más bien a hacer lo suyo, pero dejando que la conducción del baile en general parta de la pauta inicial del varón, pienso que si no va a ser así entonces la chica puede salir sola a bailar y disfrutar sus "solos" ... si aceptas bailar con un varón es porque aceptas que él irá dando el camino y en ese trayecto la mujer propone también y él la deja lucir y haciendo eso él luce Es como el tango, la chica hace sus juegos de pies, encandila, se luce pero la pauta la da el varón. Es mi apreciación sobre lo que concibo del baile, al menos del baile en pareja, si hablamos de regueatton es otra cosa... Entiendo que cuando los bailarines dominan la técnica profesionalmente rompen reglas, y seguro que también está bien, pero solo no se dispersen tanto para evitar perder la esencia del baile tal y como fue concebido.

Claro que si, no soy este tipo de bailarina. Pero, siempre quiero conectar con mi pareja, divertirme y interpretar la música como lo escuche. Como le dijo a todos, si están buscando un estilo particular, mejor si debes buscar a bailarines qué bailan así en lugar de comenta sobre los bailarines qué no bailan así. Todos tienen su estilo propio. Es más fácil apreciar las expresiónes de todos de esa manera. 😊🙏
Se perdió la identidad del baile salsa, mucho chiste y muy disfrazado el baile, vi otros mejores y se que magna y adolfo son buenos bailarines, mi opinión
Interesante. En mi opinión, la identidad de la danza es la diversión, la conexión, la musicalidad, la técnica y la creatividad. En este baile hay esas cosas y muchas más. Pero entiendo, la danza, y el arte en general, es muy subjetivo. No trato de complacer a los observadores. Mi intención es conectar y divertirme con mi pareja. Y siempre lo hago. 🤷🏽♀️😉

Bailamos en 2 pero también bailamos con la música, entonces, no siempre marcamos el 2 y el 6. :)
