When I was a kid I looked into this and wrote a paper in 7th grade called "The islands of Alabama" which covered which counties were islands 74 million years ago and which were a part of the Western Interior Sea.
@@judydavenport9636 you don't get things like Chalk in a flood. It literally does NOT form in a flood setting. Neither does any form of Limestone. Chalk and other types of limestone forms in shallow calm conditions. It also forms very slowly. It is the exact opposite of a tubliant flood setting. If there is now thing that goes against a global flood it is the limestone and Chalk. Pick up a different book.
Many of the US states near here are former ocean bottoms.

And ppl will still say the great flood in Noah's time didn't happen. The evidence is right there . What a mighty God we serve.
