Natasha exists in Honkai Impact as well. Her full name is Natasha Cioara, codenamed Raven, a Russian mercenary (and part-time bartender/bar owner) with a soft spot for children. Parallels with HSR Natasha: - Dark Gray hair (Raven was originally blonde, but through some events, her hair became her current hair color) - Missing brother - Lost their orphanage (Raven, through her mercenary work, wanted to retire and bought a private island to have her orphanage there, which was then sunk when the Herrscher of the Void manifested. She is still very salty about it)
Originally Natasha had blonde hair and purple eyes. She got her new appearance after surgery mady by Jackal. You can see young Natasha in Second Erruption. In Honkai Gakuen GGZ it was even more interesting. There Natasha was Cocolia's daughter (same blond hair and purple eyes), but she was dead and Otto made her clone with name Ninti Apocalypse to use her against Cocolia.

TL;DR: the two are just angry eldritch multiversal gods of life(imaginary tree) and death(Sea of Quanta) trying to eat each other by creating and killing universes. The imaginary tree is like a web connecting all universes and branches out infinitely creating more and more parallel universes. It is the source of all life in the honkai multiverse. The sea of quanta, like the ground that leaves on an autumn day fall on to decay, when universes wilt and decay, they fall into the sea of quanta to be consumed by it. This is where universes go to die. An interesting point is that these two are the first ever living beings in the multiverse, a sort of life and death, a phanes and thanatos of the multiverse. They have an unending rivalry of trying to consume one another. imaginary tree creates more life to consume death, and sea of quanta drowns life through death. The never ending battle is what creates the cycle of the universes in honkai; life, death, and resurrection. There's also the Ether anchor that just connects all universes.
Funniest bit is some anime transformations become the most popular versions. Astolfo is most known from his fate incarnation than his actual mythological figure (though the slept with 100 women thing to prove they were unfaithful is amazing)

I'm glad more people are showing an interest in Honkai Impact 3rd(or at least certain parts of it), but it does make me a bit sad so many of them will only know the cliffnote versions like this. Its story and characters are amazing, and quite a few moments really lived up to the "Impact" that's in the name. I hope that at some point, more people will show more than a glancing interest in it.
star rail made me get back into the game after I deleted it because the authorization failed, I currently on chapter ten and I can safely say I made a great decision
Meh tbf Honkai Impact is kind of a niche game even after all these years because it's a Hack'n'slash and a VN, so people who only wants the fast peaced combat might get bored of the VN part and people who only wants the story might get bored of the fighting and challenges, also since the game is a "only waifus are playable" not all the people want that, heck even some HI3rd fans themselves want male playable due to how cool they are (personally I think it's unnecesary), some people might try the game and like it so they'll play it just to complain about the lack of dick at every chance and some other might not even try because there are no males thus it becomes automatically a "fanservice shitty game" or a "waifu collector" :^)

It’s just a shame that for all the curiosity that bleeds over from Star Rail and Genshin, very few will dive past UA-cam videos or internet articles. I hold Honkai’s story and characters in fairly high esteem, and it hurts a bit seeing so much interest remain at a surface level. Understandable, but still a shame.

fun fact: the stigmata Newton B (basically honkai's "artifacts") is one of the strongest in the game...it took a lot of time to "replace" it because it was op and you could use it with every character
You could still use Newton B, but only on budget teams where you don’t have Shattered Swords (Senti stigmata set) Cezanne (Griseo stigmata set) or DR. MEI (Prometheus stigmata set). The same goes for other supports such as Ai Chan, HoTr, Pardo, and even Sushang. In that case, you can use Teri Candy T, Beach Mei M, and Newton B. The only time where it’s viable in “whale” situations is in Memorial Arena and in some abyss weathers where you don’t require a long rotation (Cezanne B), however that scenario is rare especially since Nirvana/Red Lotus weathers have chonky ass enemies.
something really important to note is that welt sees himself as the cause of himeko's death. because she became a valkyrie did she die, and she became one to learn of what happened to her father, whom welt killed. he doesn't want her to die again, but he also didn't want to abandon his friends on earth.

If you want to know about what happens to HI3 Himeko, you should definitely watch the "Final Lesson" cinematic for the feels. And dw, t's not a spoiler for HSR Himeko at all since they're different people! "Thus Spoke Apocalypse" is a good cinematic to watch for some Otto lore as well (since Luocha is Otto's expy in HSR). Or you can also watch Homu's videos about them!

It is a little head canon though Every single universe, Himeko is bound to die She died in GGZ as the Herrscher of the End (could also be referred to Finality) ended the world (she also died another time by the hands of Mei iirc? GGZ is FAR complex and has way higher power scaling compared to many verses) In Honkai Impact, she dies two times Previous Era Himeko died in the hands of Kevin as she became the Herrscher of Flames (and the herrschers back couldn’t have a controlled will, it was until Elysia who is a glitch in Honkai cycle used to her exclusive authority/power to slice humanity’s sting of fate as well as giving Human herrschers like her to have a chance to regain their humanity and fight back against Honkai) And the Himeko that we all love died by sacrificing herself to save Kiana from Herrscher of the Void, leading to the biggest grief/lost for Kiana as seen in the story.
It’s kinda funny to see how people who don’t play honkai impact to react to its characters and story. They’re like: Why are the two Bronyas and why does one call herself bronya and the other as bronie? Why is Raiden here? Why is there a red Seele? Why does void archives look like luocha? Why is there a guy named otto who looks identical to VA? What the heck are “divine keys”? Why is the story mostly comprised of girls? Who the are these characters called “The 13 Flamechasers” are they new characters?
i mean the son it's a clone of the first Herscher, Welt Joyce it's not really his son but he treats him like a son even if it's a clone of his teacher basically. As for the wife Tesla she's the second guardian of Welt Joyce clone and it's implied they got married at some point but it's not officially confirmed yet, it's just implied it's also implied they had a falling out as well so it's unknown if they are married or not right now
I never knew about welt and Tesla being in a relationship, I mean Tesla is more like a mother to welt than anything, at least that's what I got from the story
The *Astral Express* which *Welt* is a holder of is a *Divine key* "Key of Infinity" aka "Cosmic Juggernaut" _It allows the user to create bubble universes in the Sea of Quanta_ _Capable of traversing through the Sea of Quanta and the bubble universes within_ _Can be used to peer into bubble universes and observe events within them._ The "Void Archives" mentioned in this vid is also a *Divine key* which mimics other Divine Keys _it also allows to enter a library-like virtual reality with each book containing an archive from the Previous Era._ *Divine Keys* are pieces of Previous Era technology, usually weapons, made using a Herrscher's Core. Hope this clarifies how the connection in between HSR and HI3

You know, it's best if you watch Honkai Impact's Animation or read it's lore (TLDR version if you have to) to really get the bigger picture of the Honkai-verse. Cause watching Welt's lore may answer who he is but also leaves a lot of questions to non Honkai Impact players.
as a Honkai veteran who was once so confused with the lore before I finally fell deep into the rabbit hole a year or so ago (and thus got a more personalized connection to Hoyo’s beautiful animated shorts with better context involved)….I hope Necrit gives more of a chance to experiencing HI3 as its own thing as there’s a lot of subtle things in HI3 that has gotten me very excited for what Star Rail’s universe has in store. Star Rail patch 1.1 is essentially a very fan service banner lineup for Honkai captains as both Silver Wolf and Luocha appear to be alternate universe counterparts to their Honkaiverse counterparts. It’s a sprawling rabbit hole to get into but there’s something for everyone to enjoy in this “positive and wholesome story” to experience if you’re willing to. 🤣

there are a lot of cinematics in Honkai Impact 3rd, you can watch it all (or play the game) and you'll understand where star rail story going to be. goofy at first but get then only sadness remains

Honkai impact 3rd currently has 45 story chapters, 7 character chapters, 4 open world stories, 22 Mangas with a total of 230 chapters, 3 animes with a total of 30 episodes, 3 visual novels with a total of 68 chapters, 2 concerts and biweekly events. There's plenty of content to cover. Even if one was to not play/watch/read any of what I just mentioned, there's still the official animation playlist with 22-40 videos to react to.

Maybe you should watch some HI3 animations. In chronological order. Possibly reading some synopsis or brief context explanation between them, but they are pretty cool even without it. Also, I bet watching "Thus Spoke Apocalypse" before the Luocha banner drops will change how you see things.

Not sure if you have been able to get out of your confusion, but I’ll try to explain. To start off Honkai is basically what decides what world dies and lives, and a product to test humanity is Herrschers, they would be mindless beings if it weren’t for elysia who ‘married’ (sacrificed herself for) humanity. There is 3 main groups in Hi3, Otto’s where he works on his plan to reverse time to save his crush, Kevin’s who want to stop the Herrschers, and Teri Teri’s who work on combating honkai (under Otto for a bit). Make sure to read hi3 manga it helps with story. There is also honkai corruption which can be caused from high honkai radiation, think radiation stuff like that, which can act like cancer. The sea of quanta is a messed up place where incomplete worlds are, think of an unfinished artist drawing, Welt ended up in it and sealed it from the outside world from Kevin while he waited for his successor (Bronya) The sky people are creatures who survived who ‘adapted’ to the honkai and now feed off of it, so their world survives Otto has many clones so it’s very hard to kill him, void archives took over one of the Otto clones. Teri Teri was a test subject who Otto deemed good because he was trying to bring his crush back. Kiana suffers from his testing too. How Mei and Kiana met was because Mei’s dad was shady and got himself in trouble, and Mei was going to an expensive school and people liked her because of her dad’s wealth, so when he got and trouble everyone turned on Mei, so when she tried to jump off a building Kiana stopped her, they later met Bronya. Bronya is a orphan because her parents died, her legs often have issues because of this one brat from her orphanage who kicked her down some stairs and beat her up, Seele also lived in that orphanage, Seele underwent this trial that got her stuck in the Sea of quanta. Bronya was a very good assassin and ended up getting the name ‘silver wolf’ part from her silver hair color. Prometheus isn’t a Bronya, but she is a robot from a previous era who got access to the will of honkai (the force that decides what world lives and dies) she made it so she’d be cloned into every universe and create new Herrschers to her will basically. For the flame chasers, Kevin, Fu hua survived into the current era, Elysia ‘married’ humanity which gave future Herrschers a chance to fight for their humanity. Gresio the little art kid took the place of Kosma (best boy) to be in the rocket ship that contained the human genome to search for worlds in which they survive from honkai (which could lead to Genshin because Gresio have some birds in her ult, and the rocket ship could be seen as an egg, and she can create things from her drawings) Mobius created project stigma which gave humanity a chance to fight but it was highly risky to get done, Kevin took this research into the current era, to stop the finality from happening. All these celebrities, scientists, poets and writers in Honkai Impact 3rd are stigmata, it's like tattoo that contains memories of people with strong personalities, and it empowers valkyries. Gameplay wise it's same as artifacts/relics. Lieserl Einstein and Frederica Telsa though are daughters of Albert and Nikola.They look young because they got stucked in time.

understandable. their first mihoyo game is genshin(like me) not knowing GGZ which can be considered as honkai 1, already delved deep about its parallel universes. its really such a shame that ggz global is now gone. could have played it just fot the lores

It’s just a shame that for all the curiosity that bleeds over from Star Rail and Genshin, very few will dive past UA-cam videos or internet articles. I hold Honkai’s story and characters in fairly high esteem, and it hurts a bit seeing so much interest remain at a surface level. Understandable, but still a shame.

Funnily enough, SR Himeko is probably the closest thing to a potential future for a non valk Himeko, which Welt directly caused, making him the indirect cause of death of Himeko
fun fact: the stigmata Newton B (basically honkai's "artifacts") is one of the strongest in the game...it took a lot of time to "replace" it because it was op and you could use it with every character
You could still use Newton B, but only on budget teams where you don’t have Shattered Swords (Senti stigmata set) Cezanne (Griseo stigmata set) or DR. MEI (Prometheus stigmata set). The same goes for other supports such as Ai Chan, HoTr, Pardo, and even Sushang. In that case, you can use Teri Candy T, Beach Mei M, and Newton B. The only time where it’s viable in “whale” situations is in Memorial Arena and in some abyss weathers where you don’t require a long rotation (Cezanne B), however that scenario is rare especially since Nirvana/Red Lotus weathers have chonky ass enemies.
Welt kind of blames himself for Himeko's death in HI 3rd so he urges to save another Himeko so badly.
I want him to get into Honkai story, there's so much to explore :^)

something really important to note is that welt sees himself as the cause of himeko's death. because she became a valkyrie did she die, and she became one to learn of what happened to her father, whom welt killed. he doesn't want her to die again, but he also didn't want to abandon his friends on earth.

If you want to know about what happens to HI3 Himeko, you should definitely watch the "Final Lesson" cinematic for the feels. And dw, t's not a spoiler for HSR Himeko at all since they're different people! "Thus Spoke Apocalypse" is a good cinematic to watch for some Otto lore as well (since Luocha is Otto's expy in HSR). Or you can also watch Homu's videos about them!

She died in GGZ as the Herrscher of the End (could also be referred to Finality) ended the world (she also died another time by the hands of Mei iirc? GGZ is FAR complex and has way higher power scaling compared to many verses)

Previous Era Himeko died in the hands of Kevin as she became the Herrscher of Flames (and the herrschers back couldn’t have a controlled will, it was until Elysia who is a glitch in Honkai cycle used to her exclusive authority/power to slice humanity’s sting of fate as well as giving Human herrschers like her to have a chance to regain their humanity and fight back against Honkai)
And the Himeko that we all love died by sacrificing herself to save Kiana from Herrscher of the Void, leading to the biggest grief/lost for Kiana as seen in the story.

i mean the son it's a clone of the first Herscher, Welt Joyce it's not really his son but he treats him like a son even if it's a clone of his teacher basically. As for the wife Tesla she's the second guardian of Welt Joyce clone and it's implied they got married at some point but it's not officially confirmed yet, it's just implied it's also implied they had a falling out as well so it's unknown if they are married or not right now
I never knew about welt and Tesla being in a relationship, I mean Tesla is more like a mother to welt than anything, at least that's what I got from the story

You know, it's best if you watch Honkai Impact's Animation or read it's lore (TLDR version if you have to) to really get the bigger picture of the Honkai-verse. Cause watching Welt's lore may answer who he is but also leaves a lot of questions to non Honkai Impact players.
as a Honkai veteran who was once so confused with the lore before I finally fell deep into the rabbit hole a year or so ago (and thus got a more personalized connection to Hoyo’s beautiful animated shorts with better context involved)….I hope Necrit gives more of a chance to experiencing HI3 as its own thing as there’s a lot of subtle things in HI3 that has gotten me very excited for what Star Rail’s universe has in store.
Star Rail patch 1.1 is essentially a very fan service banner lineup for Honkai captains as both Silver Wolf and Luocha appear to be alternate universe counterparts to their Honkaiverse counterparts. It’s a sprawling rabbit hole to get into but there’s something for everyone to enjoy in this “positive and wholesome story” to experience if you’re willing to. 🤣

Honkai impact 3rd currently has 45 story chapters, 7 character chapters, 4 open world stories, 22 Mangas with a total of 230 chapters, 3 animes with a total of 30 episodes, 3 visual novels with a total of 68 chapters, 2 concerts and biweekly events. There's plenty of content to cover. Even if one was to not play/watch/read any of what I just mentioned, there's still the official animation playlist with 22-40 videos to react to.

i had no idea that HI3 even existed before this. Then i went searching about lore and now i am juts lost. Like absolutely and completely lost. What in the sacred fuck is all of this. Pls help i am going insane.
Not sure if you have been able to get out of your confusion, but I’ll try to explain.
To start off Honkai is basically what decides what world dies and lives, and a product to test humanity is Herrschers, they would be mindless beings if it weren’t for elysia who ‘married’ (sacrificed herself for) humanity. There is 3 main groups in Hi3, Otto’s where he works on his plan to reverse time to save his crush, Kevin’s who want to stop the Herrschers, and Teri Teri’s who work on combating honkai (under Otto for a bit). Make sure to read hi3 manga it helps with story.
There is also honkai corruption which can be caused from high honkai radiation, think radiation stuff like that, which can act like cancer.
The sea of quanta is a messed up place where incomplete worlds are, think of an unfinished artist drawing, Welt ended up in it and sealed it from the outside world from Kevin while he waited for his successor (Bronya)
The sky people are creatures who survived who ‘adapted’ to the honkai and now feed off of it, so their world survives
Otto has many clones so it’s very hard to kill him, void archives took over one of the Otto clones.
Teri Teri was a test subject who Otto deemed good because he was trying to bring his crush back. Kiana suffers from his testing too.
How Mei and Kiana met was because Mei’s dad was shady and got himself in trouble, and Mei was going to an expensive school and people liked her because of her dad’s wealth, so when he got and trouble everyone turned on Mei, so when she tried to jump off a building Kiana stopped her, they later met Bronya.
Bronya is a orphan because her parents died, her legs often have issues because of this one brat from her orphanage who kicked her down some stairs and beat her up, Seele also lived in that orphanage, Seele underwent this trial that got her stuck in the Sea of quanta. Bronya was a very good assassin and ended up getting the name ‘silver wolf’ part from her silver hair color.
Prometheus isn’t a Bronya, but she is a robot from a previous era who got access to the will of honkai (the force that decides what world lives and dies) she made it so she’d be cloned into every universe and create new Herrschers to her will basically.
For the flame chasers, Kevin, Fu hua survived into the current era, Elysia ‘married’ humanity which gave future Herrschers a chance to fight for their humanity. Gresio the little art kid took the place of Kosma (best boy) to be in the rocket ship that contained the human genome to search for worlds in which they survive from honkai (which could lead to Genshin because Gresio have some birds in her ult, and the rocket ship could be seen as an egg, and she can create things from her drawings) Mobius created project stigma which gave humanity a chance to fight but it was highly risky to get done, Kevin took this research into the current era, to stop the finality from happening.
