I am using Acrylic colors. You can use different colors/shades for flowers and Leaves as per your choice.
Their is no fixed proportions for color mixing dear.
But mostly I am using 50-50% of two colors.
Sometimes 25-75% also,depending upon the type of Leaves/Flowers.
If you are a Beginner, pls practice the basic strokes first.

Hi . Thank u so much. What kind of paper can we practise ? Should we only use canvas sheets meant for acrylic ?
Hello...
You can use drawing sheets or 80GSM/ 200GSM Sheet for practice .
No need of canvas sheets for practice.
My chisel edge doesn't go skinny like that. It feathers at the point. I don't know why. I think I have enough paint or floating medium.
Hello Friend...
Choose nice synthetic brushes with soft bristles. Also always clean your brushes properly after use so the color doesn't dry on make it hard.
Don't use too much of paint or medium at a time.

I love your beautiful work and you make it look so easy. I tried all of the the brush strokes but it looks like a 1st grader did it! I know it requires a lot of practice so hopefully someday I can report I graduated!!

We can draw on any paper or any certain material we have to use?
You can draw on any paper. But I prefer little thick paper.
I just love your painting, but everytime I try, I end up with getting the two colours mixed, so it becomes one colour. Am I pressing too hard, or am I using a wrong brush, meaning, are the hairs too stiff?

Mixing up of two colors is quite common with Beginners.
Even I faced this in my early days of practice.
I would suggest you to use little broad brush with soft Bristles.
With practice you can do it. 🙂

Yes... You need lots of practice and patience to paint these Leaves. You will get it easily by more and more practice 👍👍.
I'm using Flat brush #12 & # 16
For practice purpose don't use small brush.

Soft Bristles
How to clean brushes
You can clean your brushes by liduid soap and Luke warm water.
For better results, you can buy Wash Tub. It gives long life to your brushes.
