I thoroughly enjoy spending time with you. Your personality is as striking as your work. I feel as though I just learned something really cool from a life-long friend. Great job young lady.
I so enjoy your work. I’m recently retired and hav lots of shells living here on Cape Cod so I will be attempting some of these wiring projects . Thank you for sharing your talents
Thanks for sharing this. I learned so much here. I have never tried wrapping wire before but I gave it a go. The first shell was rough because I really had the wrong gauge wire for wrapping the 20 gauge but it sorta turned out to look like a cool ornament to use on a macrame wall hanging I just finished. The second time I tried this was sooo much easier because I bought the 28 gauge wrapping wire and low and behold I have something very like the lovely wire pattern you taught here. I just really appreciate the time and effort you put into shooting this video and for your expertise ❤❤❤❤
Beautiful work! Just seen your channel for the first time and have subscribed. Thank you for sharing, it seems too difficult for me to do but I will keep watching your videos, you're a great teacher. Greetings from Spain💕
Yvonne, thank you for all you’ve shown us, all you’ve said about what we could possibly be working on, and all your encouragement. With me….(a beginner) I just love to practice the weaving (that I am NOT good at) and actually just listen to you while you’re creating something. It actually relaxes me (unless I’m frustrated) except I have to put up with the extreme pain in my hands because of arthritis. I have joined a few channels, however……YOURS is the best and I just sit here and watch what in the heck you’re doing! Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing your work. It’s very informative and inspirational. I like that you share your train of thought as you continue to work with your project.
Beautiful design! I have scads of these shells I used for a class many years ago. Im finally retired & i will definitely be trying this on some of them! Thanks as always for getting the creative flow going!!!!
Outstanding! I've collected a bunch of fresh water snail shells and was looking for a video like this one. You are a pleasure to listen too...relaxing!
I call them unicorn shells. I have a couple of cut ones. Thank you for your inspiration, I'm going to take a try at this. I don't have too much of a wire supply, so I need to stock up and get wrapping! Thank you.
wow just perfect i found 2 of spiral shells today and came here looking for a simple technique for a pendant and this his just so lovely thank you for sharing! My sisters are just going to love your design!
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed watching your tutorial. You have a very easy manner, which is easy to listen to as well. Please keep adding more! Very nice.
Shells!! Who knew Florida had such great beach treasures! Thanks for the tutorial. I'm new to wire wrapping and love your enthusiasm and energy for your craft. You've given me courage to give it a go and as you've said; progress not perfection!
This is gorgeous! I have some fossilized shells like this one that were my dads. He passed away a year ago and I’ve been wanting to do something special with them for me and my sister. Thank you so much for helping me decide what I’m doing🤗
Okay I know this video is a bit old. I have a lot of round style shells and was looking at tutorials even though I don't even have wire, but then you said that thing about not being too critical of your own work, and that other people have different taste and might love your creations - and boy did I need to hear that. Thank you.
I enjoy seeing every step. I wouldn’t change your videos. Seeing how you change and problem solves helps a great deal for a beginner and they are the best. Be you Von! 😁
Very informative and easy to understand. You also have a very bubbly, friendly attitude that comes through in the way you talk, it's not boring to watch an hour of this. Beautiful pendant btw :)
I love this little shell and how you turned it into a beautiful work of art with like a hundred yards of wire, lol. You are one of my favorites and so inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
This is so pretty. I love this pattern. It's beautiful !!! I have so many of these. I've stuffed the cavity with broken glass, beads and charms. They turned out quite nice !!
Thank you for this tutorial 😊 I had to modify the design but I loved the way it turned out with the wire wrapped/weaving design. I wish I could post a picture. I’m proud of my first try. 👍😉
Awesome girlfriend! I'm watching this for the third time because I am a beginner. You have a pleasant voice and you're patient and show every step and I appreciate you!
Love your attitude towards the wire and any changes you make. You make me realize I need to relax and "go with the flow". Sometimes I try too hard & lost the joy of creating. I need to accept my project may not be perfect but the results will fill me with satisfaction,! Thank you
Es la primera vez en tu canal 🌺🌹tus vídeos me encantan me suscribo y comparto para que más personas los vean.A mi hija le encanta la bisutería también hace cosas hermosas como tú ❣️🌺🌹 saludos desde España
Hi , I have watched you for sometime now and love your wire weaving skills ! I have a tip for you !! When wire weaving and trying to get that tiny wire threw your base wires , use a straight pin between the shell and base wire. it works for me.
That was great 🥰 your shell Wrapping has put mine to shame .....I will do better with mine from now on .Thank You ,I really like yours better Beautiful work....💗💗💗
I subscribed because I love the fact that you make mistakes and fix them so easy. It makes me feel better, as I make many mistakes and needed to see how to fix without being frustrated. Thank you very much. I'm going to buy one of these shells today.
I just keep going back to your video’s, they are so relaxing, like I’m with a really good friend and I learn so much. I love what you did with that shell! ❤️ It’s beautiful!
I love what you doing. I love shells and my mom always used to make jewelry and my daughter is making family trees and of course we do make dream catchers. The other funny thing is that your name is kind of like mine my mom‘s and my youngest daughters name my youngest daughters name is Yovon 👩🏽🦱 and mine my mom’s name is Vonnie so that’s awesome
Hi 👋 What about halfway filling the shell with seed beads and placing something in the mouth of the shell 🐚. That way, after the shell is prettied up you can turn it Upside-down and have an ocean wave sound - sort of like the sound a rain stick makes! 😉
Wow you make it look easy lol 😂. Love your videos and the jewelry you make. Thank you for making these videos it’s so helpful. I’m just learning and I enjoy it. I hope I can get as good as you some day..
@Yvonne Williams so I've been visiting your past videos MY how you have evolved! So I've made a few of these how do I price something like this? I really struggle with pricing. I would LOVE it if you educated us on how to price our pieces. HOPE YOUR DAY IS AWESOME!!! See ya Friday!
Thank you for finally wrapping the things I have to wrap and could not get past one bad idea to think of doing. I am still a beginner and love your videos. Keep on bringing it,Yvonne!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have been trying to figure out how to use the same type of shell (auger) but my creations are just not working out. I think I now know how to make them look spectacular.
Definitely a lot of coiling, but it turned out beautiful. You did a great job in showing how you did the wrapping and the stabilizing. Enjoyed your video, will be watching more in the future. I live in Galveston Texas, our own little island, with lots of shells to be had here. Will definitely try wire wrapping some of my many shells, maybe without so much coiling. lol But you never know ! Thanks for the tutorial !
I'm soooo glad you cut off that second spiral. I didn't like it at all. As a matter of fact I was actually sitting here speaking to my tablet begging you to just get rid of it lol 💕
