I love both sizes. I really like the look of the Medium very cool. The small in black is very classic great for day and night.

2 ways to preserve the structure even if the leather gets softer over time: 1) Do NOT overstuff your bags and 2) Store them properly (upright and with paper or cloth stuffing). Lovely bags...the small one looks best on you!

Hey lovely, I really want to get this bag in the dusty pink colour, in small. I’ve heard that you should wear the bag with both straps, and not as a cross body or shoulder strap as it makes the top of the bag pointy, and flattens the bag. Have you had any problems with your bag getting pointy and flat like this? xx I love wearing my bags as a shoulder bag, and rarely wear crossbody

Nicole Hi! So far there is no color transfer on mine. I do wear jeans everyday, but granted I tend to wear my medium nude bag as a shoulder bag instead of crossbody.

I honestly think this bag could go either way. The shape makes it a classic bag, but the big logo at the front makes it more of a trendy piece. I don't know how it would hold up in 5 years, but if you really like it I'd say go for it =)

What year did these bags release?
What color is the beige one? I can only find “dusty rose” and “porcelain rose” and wonder if they’re the same color as your bag or if the taupe has been discontinued.
I think on the Gucci website it's called dusty pink. Other sites may call it differently, but I believe gucci has only one nude shade for this particular bag.

i personally wouldn't wear this to weddings because I see this as a more trendy/ more casual bag, but i would wear this to meetings/dinner.

It's really hard to compare. They're both a totally different bag. If I had to choose between the two, I would go with Pochette Metis because I think the style is more classic and long lasting, whereas Gucci marmont is more trendy.

Any creases on your bag when you bought it ?
I bought the medium preloved, so yes there were creases on my bag. For the small one, there were also creases even though it was new. However, I found the crease as just how the leather texture is. The leather is really soft and squishy. With that said, it is not scratch resistant. However, I think for normal wear & tear, the bag will hold up quite well.

Can a guy get away with wearing the medium one as a messenger?
I don't think this would be classified as messenger bag. Depending on your preference, but personally I think the style is more on the feminine side.
I think theses bags are beautiful however over priced!! I could a Chanel if I save up a little more!!
But one Chanel bag that size is around $7500 + these days, especially if you want classic colours too so it’s like 3 times more.
