Yup, the girl they bullied when Dong-eun came back is different (also a possible spoiler so I won't mention who they are, but you definitely see the similarity between young and adult on a second watch-through holy). Hye-jeong is one of the 5 bullies from the first episode, I'm pretty sure she's the one who was going to get milk when Dong-eun walked in asking about Yeon-jin's goals in life.
The key to this show is knowing every interaction is important. The people they show, the dialogs, every action is part of the plot. Even people you think are in the background may in fact be part of the revenge or history.
@LaGrenouille3435 I can't tell you what the difference is from a definitive/technical standpoint, so this is my opinion/experience. Google says CC is for people with hearing impairments, and that's awesome. I think the CC translations are a bit further away from "literal" translations. It focuses more on the understanding of the reader than translating what is said. So, I will write things in a way that is also providing context, than just telling you what was said - sometimes I think this comes with looking for references the person might understand, and that might mean putting things in an American context for example. I guess it can be helpful, it personally takes away from some of the lines/their delivery, the writing, and cultural perspectives - the translation in some scenes on this show are different dependent on the subtitle you are using. But I do not understand Korean (beyond the years and tons of drama watching), so I can't really say which is a more accurate translation.
@@nwandoogo7269CC is just the subtitles for the English dub. Normal subtitles are always the most accurate because they don't have to match the translation to the actors' mouths.
To clarify some things about the characters, it can be a bit much in the beginning: - The guy on the plane is Jeon Jae-joon, he was the one shagging the main bully (Park Yeon-jin) at the shop, he's the bully who played basketball in the flashbacks.. - the flight attendant is Choi Hye-jeong, she is the one with the white dress, also the girl who made out with the gym teacher in the flashbacks.. after the flight she texted Jae-joon to pick her up, he declined.. - The one with the tattoos is Son Myeong-oh, he's kinda working for Jae-joon, he's also selling drugs to Lee Sa-ra.. -Lee Sa-ra is the painter and drug addict, she's the one who told Hye-jeong it would have been her if it wasn't for Dong-eun (the one getting revenge).. she's the one in the flashbacks who told Yeon-jin that her dream of being a kind mother is bullsh*t.. she's the pastor's daughter.. - the guy in the library reading about GO is Ha Do-yeong, he's married to the main bully Yeon-jin, he is not one of the bullies.. - Jo Yeo-jeong is the intern, he's also the one you saw briefly at the cafe talking to his friend, he is teaching Dong-eun how to play GO.. hope that helps a bit.. I don't think it's necessary to go into detail about the main character and the main bully, since nothing much happened up til now..
She does not want to corrupt or harm the child. In the first episode she alluded to wielding the child as a soft curling iron against the mother. The curling iron is not tortured, it is used to torture someone else. In this episode she did not say anything about corrupting the child, she said that she herself would be corrupted, and the mother of the child;d destroyed. The title girl is not a target for her revenge. The husband was not the guy on the plane, he was the guy reading the book about go in the bookstore.
BTW the actress who plays the maid (Yeom Hye-ran) is one of my favourite actresses in Korean Film and TV. She's done action/comedy/drama and every role I've seen her in she does a tremendous job whether it's a main or side character.
Good catch on the game being a small version of her revenge. The game Baduk (Korean name) aka Go (Chinese name) is a very strategic game meant to show a correlation between game tactics and battle irl.
Well congrate to the Glory for winning three top awards- Best Drama Award, Best Actress (Song Hye Kyo) and Best Supporting Actress Award(Lim Ji-yoon) on 59th baeksang art award. They deserve it.
Yes, unless the show directly shows connection between one character and another one, never assume that there is a direct relationship, or even any relationship. Also, never assume who’s trash anyone is stealing. Sometimes during a two-decade revenge plan, one must get at ones enemies indirectly.
I had pretty much all the same theories as you guys did at this point. The show is very good at leading you down one path and then whipping the rug out from under you! It is such an unpredictable show, and I loved it!! Thank you for reacting.
Not kidding, I just finished watching your reaction to first episode and was like, "lemme watch their reaction to other episodes" and than realized....THAT U ONLY STARTED WITH IT AHHHHHHHHHHH T.T I vote for binge watching this LOL
btww the scene between the dude and another dude in the hospital, its a common brotherly behaviour seen in kdramas XD. oh and the dude on the plane is jae jun, one of the bully.
Wooooo Episode 2! I didn't mention this before but I love y'all new edits and stuff yall added ever since y'all came back! It looks amazing! Thanks for the reactions and hard work yall put into them.
She hasn’t mentioned (as of this episode) anything about planning to hurt the child, but just because she hasn’t said she will, please don’t spoil it by confirming it. People watching episode 2 are not meant to know what happens to anyone in the show, or if they will get harmed. This includes the child.
We’re already hooked!

Second time watching this series.. let's watch moving ❤
I love how vocally enraged you get at the scummy characters in this show 🤣 "Drink your carrot juice!!"
The big melon girl is not the girl that they bullied before. She’s their friend from the start.

@@therren9981 The old and the young one look enough alike that I didn’t even realize they had a different actor. Great casting win that one.
you mean 'friend' right?

It’s like that in every show and movie. Idiots
The second key is not using the cc English subtitles preferably

The guy on the pane? Did you mean the guy on the plane? If so, no, that is not him. If you actually meant pane, not plane, what does that mean?
@@fordhouse8b I meant plane and yes the guy on the plane was Jae-joon, he even put in his eye drops..
@@Rayna_90 👍
Only 2 episodes in and Ange is losing his mind over the jerks, it only gets worse 😂😂
The guy on the plane is Jaejun, one of the bully. And the guy in front of the nice house is the husband of the main bully Park Yeonjin.
Was looking to see if anyone had commented this yet
The assistant in the store has some of the best facial expressions, murderous side eye and fear ones are just great in this show.
they did a very good job at casting characters similar to their younger version. I am enjoying so much to see you reacting

The maid isn't Jeon's maid; she is the maid of another person that Moon has on her radar
Thanks, they wouldn’t have pieced that together eventually.

I am so enjoying this! Your reactions are dead on, the outrage and anger, the concern and anguish, all of it is so present and watchable.

I absolutely loved the visible confusion on Carlie’s face when the woman told Moon that she wanted her to kill her husband

The names can get confusing along with all the time-jumps but this show is worth it!
love your reaction!
Ange blaming the carrot juice XDD an absolute noodle hahaha I love it xD
After ep 4 or 5, the flow of the story will be less complicated. Even I got confused and got tons of question during first 3 episode.
The guy on the plane is the same one that Jeon Jin was having sex with in the dressing room; she is cheating on her husband; even b4 they were married
omg i am so happy to watch you both back again after AOT and SQUID GAME!! Here there is another series to bring me back

Hi I was wondering if I could give you a recommendation to watch hunter x hunter thank you for the opportunity
After watching 5 Episodes of the Glory, i skipped it. It`s way to slow paced and for me - it`s getting boring
