My friend who recently went to his Visa interview was almost granted his U.S. Visa as a International Student but the funds on the Bank Statement wasn't enough he had 630,586 Ghana Cedis which equals to $52,374 but if he had 700k Ghana Cedis and above he would've gotten his Visa Approved. He's a Student at Berklee College of Music in Boston he was supposed to be here since last yr. But the Female Consular was convinced with his answers that he's has given she was gonna grant him the Visa but if not for the Bank Statement he would've gotten it.

If you funding covers your studies expenses, there will be no need for additional fund. But you can still have more funds to add if you want
can you tell the VO that your father has given you his dollar account , or it’s preferable to just say what your father does and how much he earns
It is okay to say what your father does and how much he earns if he is the one sponsoring you.
