This is a beautiful song, I found it while writing a story where the main characters name was Eric and the lyrics described the story perfectly, I think that there was some divine intervention involved there.

Does anyone else hear "voices and melodies" (1:15 - 1:17) rather than "voices and analogies"? I own the album, the album notes say "analogies." But no matter how many times I listen to hear this beautiful song, I hear "melodies," which makes more sense lyrically, since the song includes a lot of imagery related to music. I don't hear the extra syllable of "analogies," and I hear "d" rather than "j." Am I hearing that word wrong?
