Thanks so much for this amazing recipe! I made a few variations : used coconut sugar and butter because I didn't have jaggery and ghee. To compensate for the lack of stickiness that jaggery should have taken care of, I added a few tablespoons of cold milk... But still the result is great! My toddler simply loved these cookies and that made my day 😇
Tried this homemade healthy ragi biscuit today! Especially for my two year old son since I wanna serve him home made snack. Followed your method and baked in oven in convection mode at 180 degrees for 15mins. They came out really superb and tasty. My whole family as well as my son loved it! I tried this cookies today. The mix was done exactly as told but upon baking ( did it in a pan) the cookies crumpled. Was upset but then got an idea. Added about 1.5 tbls milk and baked it once again. It came out intact 😊

This is a really nice recipe. I substituted the ghee with oil as I'm allergic to dairy. And I substituted half the quantity of jaggery with brown sugar. I'm amazed how delicious and soft these cookies are. Can't wait to try your ragi chocolate chip recipe.

Hi I tried this recipe. But when I tried this amound of ghee I used was not proper and the jaggery melted soon so I faced some problems in making. Still somehow I adjusted the consistency with some cashew milk still it turned out good. It was my confidence in your recipe made me feel it won't fail. Thank you for your such motivating healthy recpies. Once I made Jowar cup cake it was good. When I try Jowar cake definitely I will share it with you . Thank you.
Your cookies are looking very good. I have made similar cookie without cocoa powder but they came out little dry with some cracks. Maybe because I baked for longer as it looked undercooked. Next time I will remove it earlier, increase ghee quantity and try. Thanks for this recipe!!

I got an idea regarding design on the cookie.. we can use kids rubber stamp set.. alphabets, smilies or anything and try that on cookie dough laid on plate. I will add a picture if I try that part. Otherwise, I tried the cookie and it turned out very tasty and definitely guiltfree

Hi, I made the cookies. The recipe is good. Just need to take less amount of cocoa powder. I feel 1/3 cup of cocoa in 1 cup of ragi flour is a lot. Hope this helps the viewers who try this recipe.
