Good advice. My beard is a similar length to yours & I find a regular comb &/or brush does not have the reach I need. Instead I use a long toothed, handled comb every morning & evening. It does a good job keeping my beard untangled.
I comb my beard in morning after wash and beard is fine, but when i comb befour bed my beard is alweys tangled, i will try to brush it or comb in afternoon

I get knots in mine. Actual knots on a single hair! How is that even possible?
