ps- I was featured in your mag in 1987 under "discoveries" section...Interviewed by Titus Levi...LOVE the magazine...great video btw!

I've been looking into getting a good, relatively cheap midi that has a good amount of fluctuation in it's abilities, & I definitely just found the one! As soon as I get my paycheck I'm going to order one, & I'm looking forward to seeing what it bestows. Definitely glad I watched this video & looked into it, thanks!

Finally! Someone does a practical, user based review of this. Thanks for actually using the pitch/mod ribbons. I was wondering how usable they were. Just starting out this is a good deal, plus portable enough to practice with during a lunch break. Will you be doing a video showing the layering and split functionality of the Analog Lab software?

I have an idea to use it in production. On Windows you can use virtual audio cable to capture the audio directly from your sound card. I believe you can use flower sound or something like that for Mac. Only, you won't be able to have anything else playing sound through that card while you are recording the minilab sounds.

    Hello Mr. Fortner,
I am having a bit of a problem with the Analog Lab 2 in playing with Ableton Live Suite 9 and was hoping if you could help me on this or may have encountered this problem and found a solution for it. (I am using a Arturia Minilab Black Edition 25 Keys) at first it was going good. Until I had problems with the sound of any presets from Analog Lab 2 on Ableton. I have to keep restarting or reopen ableton to hear the exact sound I hear in the stand alone app. I am not getting the fact that it sounds like a can or a distorted sound or sometimes it doesn't even play the bass of a preset and just a low quality key sound. I hope you get my query as I do not know any other way of explaining this problem. Problem # 2 with it with ableton is, when I turn the knobs (ex. volume) Isn't it when we turn it to the right the volume should go up? In the Analog lab via Ableton it does reverse (Volume up is when I turn knob to left and vice versa) then it doesn't go very smooth rather that rate of (ex. Volume) volumes up very smoothly (ex.. 1..2..3..4... and so on) the volume just turns up very abruptly (ex. from no sound which is example at 0 it goes up like to 25% of the volume to 50% to 75% then to 100%) I hope you really get my query huhuhu. As I would like to perform with the Analog live on Ableton very soon and not with the stand alone app because I would like to record it live while playing esp. I also have my drum tracks assigned to my pads with stand alone app I cannot do this. Please help me if you can, If not then it is still fine but I hope somebody would know a solution to this. :(

Is it possible to transpose all keys down a half step from the midi control center so that everytime I play the keyboard, no matter what program, it will sound that way? My guitars are tuned to eb so the keyboard needs to be a half step down as well. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

$99 is totally twisted. From someone who has spect in the hundreds of thousands on keyboards over my life I can say this is heaven and hell. Heaven because Nobody can afford not to have this but hell because no matter how cool Stephen says all of the options are 90% of the people will pull up the presets, play them and never do anything else. We are making this too easy for everybody

hello! i bought this piece of equipment of some days. back .though i researched well and bought this primarily only for the great count of synths and sound that come with it. though when i took the step wise installation , it seems to have installed the analog lab along with the midi controller, on the application board, yet when i open the application folder and go to the arturia folder. it only shows two components in it. the analog lab & the midi controller. is it not supposed to have all the synths mentioned separately. coz in ableton live, it becomes cumbersome since i have to put the entire lap instead of an individual synth to the channel, is it like that with anyone here on the list ???
can i delete all components and get a re download em since i have 4 validations still left with me for the product?
    please help

I think you need some additional software to record playings. For me it sounds like Analog Lab only creates the sound out of the signal from your controller.
But it should work recording the playings in FL studio but I'm not sure.
