I actually found out about Shoto through his collabs with Vox. I miss those collabs, they were a lot of fun, but good for him for doing what was best for himself
i never realized how bad it was for shoto until i saw how fast he skip one tweet on room decoration stream. It was a pict of a fans room with shoto and vx married shrine, bruh i tell you this shippers are crazy.
@@Mint_River11 If you call them out on it, they will tell you it's harmless etc. Shipping in general is a bad habit to get into. Odd1IsOut had to stop collabing with Jaiden Animation on the FIne Brother UA-camr React because their fans would ship them hard
@@EndoftheBeginning17 Most of it wasn't even about shipping tbh. The fans who got far too into the ships just ended up being annoying, but they weren't really part of the harassment. It was the people who hated Shoto for even getting more fans just because he collabed with the other Vtubers. I don't know how many dumb posts I saw calling him a leech and it made me so mad every time.
@@Mint_River11 it's less of a shipper problem but more of vox's crazy ass fans stalking and harassing shoto calling him a leech and sending him death threats and tried to doxx him whenever he collabed with him, they're also the main bunch of losers who spread the drug lord rumors and got him cancelled in china

I know shipping especially played a part of it too with Vox Akuma and it just getting way out of hand with fans of either Shoto or Vox constantly mentioning the other in their streams. Or hell, fans getting way into it and pushing them to date or that they are really in love with each other, completely missing the point that the shipping thing was for entertainment and for fun. It got so bad that I'm guessing this is where a lot of VTubers now have it in their rules to not mention other Streamers unless they bring them up on said livestream because of Voxto, or when VTubers have this problem with their fans shipping them with another VTuber.

A lot of it is probably Vox but from my own experiences, I can safely say that some of the Yaminions were being absolutely terrible as well at certain points and I was not down for that -_-

Shoto was one of the first people to introduce me to vtubers and Vox was my first kami oshi and I found him through his collabs with Shoto. I loved those collabs so much so it was so sad when they had to stop due to the drama. I'm happy Shoto is doing well and I no longer support Vox but often I wish I could go back to 2022 where Niji was a family and Shoto was able to collab with them. Those days were amazing

i recall shoto mentioning this in the past, it is truly heartbreaking. those collab are truly gold. i can't understand why there're literal such toxicity needed to keep collabs apart. i can understand if it is hurting the each other, but they weren't. ultimately, the ones who suffered are the communities as well as the difficult goodbye of collab. imagine not able to collab with friends that you vibe well because your old friends dislike it and sabotage the opportunity at every turn. it feels like that. it made the friend circles weird and uncomfortable

It’s sad because I know the people he is talking about and I miss their collabs. I look back at old streams and smile and laugh because those were the best streams to watch when I was sad. I was confused when I realized he stopped collabing with them, but I figured it wasn’t anything serious and that they just didn’t have time anymore. I’m sorry Shoto that it happened to you. I hope you are at least in still good contact with them and maybe play with them offline. But I understand and respect you if you just decided to walk away completely ❤
What’s also sad but I’m thankful for is a stream Shoto did with another Vtuber from a company. I found a clip from that stream where Shoto was just having no brain in a moment and asked a dumb but funny question. It made me laugh and I got into VTubers because of that clip

I actually started watching Vituyer because of Shoto and Vox's collaborations. But unfortunately, I wasn't on any of their broadcasts, because at that point all the clips with them were already very old. I'm very upset that I couldn't see their collab live.
But on the contrary, I like that Shoto is an independent Vituber, if someone quarrels, he leaves and then comes back, he can have a different avatar, I don't know about others, but I feel sad about it. I understand that the person is the same, but the character was also part of the image. I feel very calm in my soul that this will never happen with Shoto.

I missed their collabs. they have such good chemistry as well. and it's also pretty obvious they're enjoying each other's company playing literally any games they play. It's also because of their collabs I knew about that company and now have Oshi's there.

I'm a huge fan of Shu and loved it when you guys streamed valo together. Two of my favorite vtubers playing a game I love, literally the dream. It's sad to see the collabs with the vtubers from that company not happening anymore, but I know it's for the best. I hope you never experience such horrible experience again Shoto.

I remember those days... and the fights between the communities. I had to take breaks from them once in a while since I was one of those that enjoyed being in both communitee and loved the collabs 🥲 As much as I miss the collabs... I definitely don't want you to go through that again.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't think he's friends with some of them anymore. Well, one in particular, their name is banned in chat and you'll get timed out for mentioning it. He got really fed up with it recently so he said he might change it so it's a automatic ban from his channel if you mention the streamer's name. Good on him too cuz I was also getting real sick and tired of seeing people stuck in 2022

And so did vox, he also mentioned something like that but i didnt think it was a problem saying it on yt.

yeah it was hell to deal with. Im gonna be 100% honest with what im about to say. Im so happy and I really find it super comfortable with the people you collab now than with the people you collab before like Vox, Uki and even Mysta. Mysta and Shu was a bit alright coz I can still find chill people who are not weird and just enjoys you boys hanging out and not being too much about the shipping stuff. But when it comes to Vox and Uki... oh my god! the posts ive seen about you and them are insane! personally I enjoy you guys as an individual, but when you and those specific people collab, some other fans become super duper weird and overly ships you guys and assume the most obnoxious stuff and i hate it so much! they seem to often forget that you are an indie and you have your own achievements as well and an awesome content creator overall not just with a collab but as a SOLO!
A fanbase needs to be cultivated. Fans need to hear a no or two.

I actually first got into vtubing from shoto and discovered said vtubers and its company. Been watching since their debut and it’s just made me so sad as the years go by.

BASED. I was around for that and honestly, fkin weirdos. What baffles me is that one of the communities likes to tout themselves for being the "most wholesome" and "chill" of all the fandoms in the company's fan communities. I never really saw past that facade either, until a bunch of tiktoks surfaced and made me realize that the attitude is actually indirectly helping the weirdos cuz honestly... We never hear about them. The fact that we never hear about them makes it easier for them to continue this shit undetected and unchecked.
It always did weird me out whenever I see anti-Guildies fans pooling underneath YT clips and shit, and I would always try and talk (and lowkey shame) them out of it cuz they are so... Weird. I genuinely did not understand why they were so hostile and horrible when their oshi, the person that they look up to and idolize, are literally FRIENDS with you. Like... Isn't it a good thing that they can hang out with their friends and have a good time while making good content??? Fkin weirdos. Lowkey kinda glad that I'm so disillusioned now by that company that I can't bring myself to support them anymore :')
