As someone from Northern Ireland I can tell you he is 100% right on this
Farage is not right at all. In fact, he is projecting his own hatred of the British values that the lady mentioned.
In addition, he is lying about the elections being sectarian. He was indirectly saying that Muslims vote based on religion instead of politics which is false. Almost any muslim area in the country would vote for Jeremy Corbyn over any Muslim politician in any party. Muslims are in almost all the parties and in many cases there were several Muslims fighting for the same seat in parliament. Many Muslims were voting for anybody who was anti-genocide, whether they be Green party, Workers Party or an Independent like Corbyn or George Galloway (a Catholic who has won many elections in Muslim areas).

I would choose England as ive lived here for almost 40 yrs. The opportunities we hv here we wouldn't get in our muslim country.

Seems a lot of people are struggling to read a very short comment within the context of even a very short video. She listed British values, one of which was mutual tolerance and respect for people with different faiths/beliefs. That means, in simple terms, "leave other people alone if you cant get on". What it does not mean (which she implies), is "let those people change the core values"(including mutual tolerance and respect for others, as well as other things she listed that British society values) in the pursuit of creating a nation that follows their dogmatic and oppressive religious laws and rules.
What values does a nation has? None. People do. There are no values exclusive to any nation.
Which of the nations values are being changed?
Not exactly sure which values you seem to think are being changed. People have often voted for those like them including religion, however I don’t really get this is a problem when we see people, especially young people leaving religion in droves. That’s why there is such a sharp decline in numbers attending or even following religion at all.

There is freedom of religion in the U.K. which is very democratic and much more tolerant than other countries in the world. Yet, England and the U.K. as a whole are by definition Christian.

You can be British in two ways - being ethnically English, Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish (white) - OR you can be a foreign ethnicity but born into British culture, which shapes your psychological development and worldview.
You cannot be a 'British muslim' - it's an oxymoron. Those are two cultures which are in complete opposition of eachother. It's like saying I'm a 'chav goth' - you can borrow from both, sure, but you have to sacrifice parts of one to partake in parts of the other.
If you are not ethnically British (example: Pakistani), and you are not culturally British (example: islamic) - then you are not British at all.

My old boss is a devout Muslim - from Huddersfield. He's also a decorated ex-Wing Commander, RAF, and a man you'd follow anywhere.

There’s no comparison between politics in England and Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland was set up as an apartheid state and if it weren’t for the civil rights movement in 65 we wouldn’t be where we are today. Numerous years innocent catholics getting burned out of their homes and shot by loyalist and British soldiers. Don’t compare the two

He’s no doubt referring to the so-called ‘Muslim vote’, ie many Muslims disenchanted by the Conservative’s geopolitical and domestic failures and Labour’s failure to convince on the international stage. Instead they turned to parties like the Liberal Democrats and the Greens that consistently called for a ceasefire with robust (centre) left policies. This isn’t sectarianism, there were no religious parties voted in. It’s politics, pure and simple.
Sectarianism doesn't just refer to religious parties, or parties with religious beliefs. It boils down to voting/promoting values which are fundamental to your religion OR culture. George Galloways' election success is a good example of sectarianism.

@sirfrederickschwarz I doubt Mr Farage has any particular goals for honours and titles, although he probably wouldn't turn down a knighthood if offered one - which, at the moment, he hasn't been so therefore is still just plain old Mr Farage and not Sir Nigel.
Personally I'd have more respect for him if he did turn one down - I think he'd rather remain completely free to say what he thinks, rather than kowtow to any party lines or other agenda in return for social elevation....

A growing number of young people in Britain are not native British, that’s why.
For goodness sake, this country has been a multicultural society for decades. I went to school and had friends that were Pakistani, African, West indian and indian. They were individuals they may have dressed differently had a different religion but they intergrated. I work in the nhs there are so many different nationalities Portuguese, Italian, Pakistani, Filipino, Polish so many and everyone gets on and shares in each others cultures. But these politics make people withdraw and less likely to intergrate, they feel unwelcome, not know who to trust and will stick with their own nationals for support as will be afraid to mingle.

Respecting the British Culture doesn't by default Mean you do away with yours... if that's the case Polish Food stores, Chinese Takeouts, Jewish shops, Indian shops, Turkish takeaways, Asian and African establishments should all close down...because they are not English fish and chip shops

Tolerance is such a insidious notion the way it is used today, as if its a good thing. You tolerate something you don't like. If we're all just tolerating each other, that means we don't actually want to be around each other. You can't foster a communal spirit on tolerance.
Basic human respect? Yes. That is something worth striving for. But tolerance is for the weak. It means you ignore what is bothering you. I dont know where you got that list of supposed British values, but that's not one of my values, not by a long shot.
British values are essentially Christian values, and I say that as an atheist. Treat others how you wish to be treated, help where you can, maintain a stoic attitude, be a hard worker, stand up for yourself and those weaker than you, and all are equal in the eyes of the law.
This is the country that wrote the magna carta, created common law, and started the first and largest ever attempt to eradicate slavery. Those are British values.
