I prefer to turn off detours, for a lot of areas they don't really work in ProMods. Interestingly, and we should really implement this, the national speed limit on single carriageway roads for trucks in Scotland is 40 mph (except on the A9 south of Inverness, where it's 50 mph).
To get the trailer to line up with the truck, you're able to create your own paintjob for both the truck and trailer so it could be a full on proper joe ahead group livery. Oh also you can disable the prompt for it to allow you to skip if you don't want it to pop up, it does get quite annoying over some time when you just want to park properly
I had to giggle at your complete ignorance of Scotland Joe! Not maliciously of course, I have no idea about most of England, but it was fun to see you out of your element in the UK 😅I agree you should do more in Scotland, but I'm biased!
The cheapest truck you can buy is an Iveco Stralis, you can remove some non-essentials to get the price down to 80k. Drivers do not benefit from more powerful trucks, so its best to give them cheap trucks, especially as you *don't* see them driving around the road irl. Also this is a New Actros, much better than the (old) Actros in my opinion.
personally i prefer the dash on the old actros but if compairing to new gen trucks does feel underpowered. the new actros has more power making it better for heavy haul.
@@LibbyMia-rz8gk I don't see how your comment is relevant to my comment at all. edit: yeah it clearly is relevant, no idea why I said that it isnt? Personally I don't like the old actros interior.
Hi Joe liking the videos on Euro truck simulator 2 I tried it on my imac but unfortunately my logitech g923 steering wouldn't work on it.what pc would be good to play this game on
Hello Joe I am from the area and my dad did this shift all up when you had and it took 9 hours and 55 minutes that was seven gas station free toilet breaks and all the other Nessa necessaries to there
I think, that you're playing Cities Skylines. So, if you end the Freyvik's history, wait for the sequel, as three days ago, they announced a sequel with completely different logo to the predecessor, Cities Skylines 2.
I think companies are more worried about protecting their precious copyright rather than thinking clever and getting some free advertising and potential future buyers interested in their products from their favourite games. Big companies don't really think like that, unfortunately.
The "Angel of the North" just outside Glasgow is just outside Cumbernauld irl, and is called "Arria" or The Angel of the Nauld as a tongue in cheek reference
I’ve been waiting on Scotland/U.K. for going on 11 years joe! SCS are an embarrassment for ignoring the U.K. completely and it’s “number one selling game in the U.K.” smarmy comment from them on their tenth anniversary last year really got my goat 😠 No I’m not using promods and wont
The few companies that actually don't want their products in ETS2 are (mainly) because starting out, of course they didn't have any licensed trailed brands, so they made some fake similar looking trailers. One or two of these trailer companies didn't much like it and refuse to do any business with SCS. When it comes to the cars being licensed of course that's just a lot of money, and for cars the licensing usually expire eventually. That said, they've been looking into coaches for a looong time, its just always been on the backburner.
i know im not a big hit myself buddy but i coukd do a convoy with you also a word bout the convoy, it doesnt seem to like the mods (e.g pro mods frosty) ive tried it with some friends on convoy and it just says mod mismatch. i believe its a bug
He’s using Promods. Because SCS are an ignorant company that only work on European cities and haven’t done anything -or plan to- for over 10 years to the U.K. I’ve owned ETS2 from CD-ROM to it being greenlit on steam.
there is a shooting ground around Inverness, for cadets all over the country, thats probably why youre delivering ammunition
Great video Joe, glad to see you on ETS2. I played Omsi 2 after your videos but have returned to ETS2. Hope to get into a convoy with you
