It's funny seeing this, then remembering that lay folk heartily debate if fish can feel pain...Whether these organism can or cannot, their avoidance reactions are pretty telling indicators of them not approving of those interactions...

Thanks, Lee. I can't ID the "tiny round things" but the somewhat larger protist that is spinning near the bottom of the frame is a Unrocentrum turbo.
