Fun Fact, as seen in one of Zero Two’s official renders the red tips of its wings are actually stringy like blood vessels or exposed nerves. Imagine an HD Kirby game showing That.
They should totally remake Kirby 64 at this point. More levels, more content, etc. And the obligatory "Soul" version of the final boss to truly wrap things up.
I am scared of the secret boss
I love the disturbing and creepy bosses in kirby games. Something different and not just cute. This mod is really cool!
I think the wing flap sound effect should be toned down a little bit and getting quieter as the light fills the screen. But this is pretty interesting.
I might name the secret second phase just Zero Soul since the 2 in 02 is already indicative of it being the same entity reincarnated. I reccommend phasing out the wing flags at the same time as you phase out the music when the first phase dies.
If Hal labs does a remake of crystal shards, I would play it.
if there was a sound for the halo breaking and made 02 actually struggle to stay balanced would add more life into this. 02's projectiles should travel faster so you arent just lazily dodging to the left. The eye tracking and the visuals are above amazing and just needs some minor tweaking. This is has very high potential and I cant wait to see if there is a follow up

There are a few inaccuracies in this remake:
This is badass! Reusing the boss ui from Forgotten Land and a complete remake of 02's theme is so badass! It would kinda be better if that 02's HP bar is drained slow when aiming for his eye and halo, but drains faster when its thorny core is hit. And 02 Soul! Holy Cow! That is one thing Nintendo wouldn't do! Its form is looks so amazing! And horrifying!
Yo!!!! One of my favorite Kirby bosses getting the remake treatment.
Considering Return to Dreamland Deluxe is coming in just around a month, the concept of a Kirby 64 remake is really cool too. Also, I love the reference to Marx Soul at the end there, and 02 soul’s design looks really unique!

Always thought that there was more planned, but due to technical limitations and time constraints, it was not added.
This is cool overall but I love the detail of bits of the Darkstar level in the background.
