Instead of making a photocopy of the crazy quilt die, I cut adhesive vinyl on the die. Then I take a plastic shipping sack (like you send dies out in), split it open on 1 side + end. Open it like a book + apply the vinyl pieces. I cut 3 colors of vinyl for the Quilts of Valor block. Then I know how to lay out the block + sew it up. = helpful + recycling. I keep the pattern in a huge zippered bag with the die to use again
