I recently did a marathon of the first 4 Andy Sidaris Girls and Guns movies. I'd rate them, from best to worst: 1) Hard Ticket To Hawaii 2) Savage Beach 3) Picasso Trigger 4) Malibu Express. None of the other 3 movies ever reach the incredible heights of absurdity of Hard Ticket To Hawaii, but they're all enjoyable to watch. Plus, I appreciate that Andy Sidaris' solution to delivering boring exposition is "let's have topless Playboy models deliver said exposition in a hot tub". What a ****ing legend that Andy Sidaris.

ANDY AND ARLENE SIDARIS! The absolute best B-movie director of all time. The only people in history to explicitly try and make movies "So Bad They're Good", and succeeded! Thirteen times in a row!
I adore these movies so much. Random Trivia:
    - Of the 13 "BBB" movies, 11 pass the Bechdel test. Which, considering what the movies are, is shocking.
    - Arlene Sidaris wrote most of the movies. Which, again, surprising given their nature.
    - The 13 films actually have continuity. It's not perfect (an arc villain de-aging fifty years and turning from Asian to White), but characters, plotlines, and cross-references persist from film to film.
    - The main villain in 9 of the movies was played by Rodrigo Obregon. He played a different character every single time, despite changing nothing about his performance. He cameo-ed in a 10th movie ("Guns") as a cross-dresser.
    - The film "Guns" had one of the earliest prominent roles of one Danny Trejo, of "Machete" fame. Despite being Danny Trejo, he played a Chinese character, for no discernible reason.
    - A ton of the women in these films have ridiculously accomplished careers completely outside of acting. Ava Cadell ("Do or Die" onwards) has two doctorates (in "Human Behaviorism" and "Education in Human Sexuality"), and is a world renowned expert in human sexuality, sexual psychology, and intimacy-adjacent emotional issues. Carolyn Liu ("Do or Die" onwards) was a practicing lawyer who graduated from New York Law School. Hilariously, this is the same school where Judith "Judge Judy" Scheindlin studied.

When Jason said 'this movie just took a massive', I wasn't expecting the next word to be 'turn'. And my hat's off to you, @Jason - I thought my cinema facial recognition was good, but you've got me beat by a mile. (Granted, my forte is 30s-50s horror/sci-fi, but still, you are the GOAT!)

Great episode as usual. I started watching you guys recently and am making my way through the old episodes. There have been a few I've rewatched. Can't wait to see more. I just bought a t-shirt to help support the channel.

Roberta Vasquez was my favourite. Obviously Sidaris used her again, this time on the good guys side, as i forgot she gets killed in this film. Gorgeous. She also appeared in Eastwood's The Rookie - right at the end.

The Picasso triggerfish is the state fish of Hawai'i. Well, sort of. Technically, it is the reeftrigger fish, and in Hawai'i, they call it the humuhumunukunukuāpua'a. The picture at the beginning of the movie was the fish in question.

The movie’s ultimately named after a fish but if you don’t know it’s a fish it’s a heck of an intriguing title. Expensive art plus gunplay is implied! Surely why the auteur went for the title.
