a sanyasi is supposed to remain away from all worldly attachments including the holy thread i.e., yagnopaveetham. yamunacharyar is found to wear the yagnopaveetham even after becoming a sanyasi.
Sri Vaishnava sanyaasi wears Yagyopaveetham, and will have Sowlam - "Kudumi". whenever doubt arises get clarification from suitable person before comment.
