It's been in the news here for the past two years about flea treatment pipettes. Same as flea pipettes for cats, so no using cat fur either. Scientists found out that smal birds like sparrow, that size, will die, but especially the babies 😕

Sherpy is just a teenager, nobody that age likes it when dad works their feet.
Nevertheless, he is so good and does it so well.
He trusts Dad completely and knows he will never do anything bad to him.
In the end, the result turned out very well.

I RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE SHERPA TO A GROOMING HOUSE. THEY HAVE SPECIAL SCISSORS FOR THAT. I THINK HE DESERVES IT.
Just cuddle him & saviour every second. I had to make that horrible decision for Kit yesterday to let her go while she was still full of life, before her kidney failure robbed her of her remaining, relatively decent quality of life. She was 18. I know you don't take your life with Sherpa for granted, but just please give him a big hug for me & soak up every second.

We used to put all the fur from our Bernese in the hedges for the birds when they were nesting, they loved it (no chemicals) and it was a good way to recycle it! Sherpa was quite good having his paws done, he’s so relaxed anyway, not much seems to rattle him (except food!!). 🤗🐾
Sherpa is such a lovely husko! A real credit to you! We adopted Jackson, a 12 month old husky, 5 months ago. He quickly became my best friend! Huskies need sooo much time and attention, but in return give sooo much love, entertainment and pleasure. Thank you for letting us share your husky adventure! Much love ❤️

Oh, I so miss my beautiful husky. He would only let me touch his feet but I was never brave enough to clip his claws. Had a lady come to the house and, after a few slices of ham as bribery, it was obvious he wouldn’t let her do it. So, another trip to the vet. In the waiting room, a lady, with her tiny dog on her lap, said to me “Hatk at that poor dog. I wonder what it’s having done?” “Well,” said I “that is not my husky having a catheter fitted but just having a pedicure!” 🤣🤣 Bless him. A total wuss. I miss him SO MUCH. That’s why Sherpa is important to me. Thank you, Jamie, for sharing him. ❤
I know it's too late, but I thought the fur between the paws helps protect against hot pavement. 🐾🥵

Rewatching, because he's just too adorable. He's just gorgeous, takes things in his stride, intelligent, loving especially to you, and looks super-duper cute ESPECIALLY in his Pawsonal
Garden of Eden, with his various hidey holes and when he's sprawled out on the grass, and looks like he's hugging the lawn! Gotta give you maximum credit though...you really went all out on buying the pawfect house, mainly I guess, for Sherpa. He gets a lot of love from you and all of your efforts. It's one of the reasons I think, as to why people love to send you a lot of things- from artwork, specially constructed gifts, practical stuff like poo bags, and of course the treats for Sherpa and all the Haribo you could possibly eat in a lifetime. 💙😘💙😘💛😘💙💙😘😘🐺

God you have some trust in yourself, if I cut my dog's paw fluff with kitchen scissors while she was asleep i'd be terrified of her moving and me accidentally cutting her!
Try two bunnies, they are tender and holding them with big hairy fluffy feet hiding the nails is always a horror.😅 but after they always are greatfull despite the tantrums and stomping. They know it helps them😊

LOL My older cat Dolly is now not grooming quite so efficiently. When she starts getting mats I have to clip them with hairdressers shears and she hates it. I have to get her to come for pets and sneak the scissors over doing those tiny little clips just like you started with Sherpa's feet. I don't feel alone anymore. Thanks.
aww, good boy sherpa! ☺❤ i used to cut the nails on 8 little paws when i had cats. it was about every two weeks when i needed to cut my own so we just made it a "family spa day" with nails and brushes. heehee

My German Shepherd hates that too. I think their paws are very sensitive.
I always had a groomer so the paws. They're just so sensitive! I didn't want any chance I'd mess up and cause pain.

Goodness sakes alive, Jamie!!! Do exactly as you want to do things!! It is your house and your dog!!!! Take him to the groomers if you and he want to do so or cut his nails and such at home if you and he want to do that! People have so many ideas (me included) but what works is what works for you!!!!

He will feel 100% better ...... Doing grooming at home is never quite as good as a qualified groomer .....plus usually they don't mind if you stay ...... I am from America and I am unfamiliar with English Law. Let's get that out of the way. 😐 My thought is that Sherpa should have recognition. An advocate for animal law. I live in a country where certain breeds of dogs are vilified and destroyed. No matter what. Puppies , Seniors , doesn't matter. My dog would not be welcome in Sherpa's country. I ask that Jamie and Sherpa spread awareness. I have tried before, but when I name the breed, UA-cam deleted my comments. Nothing nice can be said for this breed, and people refuse to consider otherwise.
Somebody please send Jamie nail clippers for dogs. Maybe Sherpa won't hate it as much😢

My Siberian pulls his paws as I have the nail in the clipper ready to clamp down. I get more upset and afraid I’ll be clamping down and he’ll pull and I yank his nail out. :))

I take mine to vet for nails and paw hair. They do it so quick and I'm always afraid I'll cut nails too short plus I'm slow and unsure and he picks up on
