I don't think Hanbin purposely give lesser lines to Chanwoo. I also understand why Chanwoo stans are upset. I think Hanbin was apologetic to Chanwoo because as the leader and composer for the group, other than Chanwoo, he's the most aware of Chanwoo's weaknesses. Chanwoo understands that too hence, he said "I will work harder." They both acknowledge the situation and they both know what should be done because at the end of the day, the goal is to produce a high quality song. Hanbin will always prioritize quality over feelings that's why although he wants to give Chanwoo more lines, he can't do so because even if Chanwoo improved a lot, he's still lacking compared to the others. In addition, giving Chanwoo lines that is not suitable for his voice just for the sake of line distribution can be detrimental to Chanwoo because he won't be able to shine and be at his best. Both of them understand that. This is why Chanwoo and Hanbin portrayed a great leader-member relationship here. UGH. My love for this group has no bounds.

I honestly think that Hanbin is just waiting for the day that Chanwoo will be able to take whatever part he gives him. It's so obvious that all members want him to shine as much as Chanwoo wants to. More than the fans, the member wants to see their maknae shine too. They always encourage him to take all opportunities given to him such as in interviews and the likes.
Preach! More people need to see this and understand exactly why you can't always give everyone equal line distributions when clearly each member has their own style of singing/rapping that might not necessarily suit the song.
my thoughts exactly. As much as Chanwoo has improved, his live singing isn't that stable yet and he lacks in some area compared to the others. Hanbin is mostly torn and I feel for him, as the leader he wants to give everyone the same equal parts, but as a producer, as a musician, he has to think about the outcome of the song itself. He knows his members weaknesses, he knows of their strengy, he knows of their capabilities and what sound suits them the most.The members know it, too. they are aware of that. Chanwoo, especially, is aware of his limit and lackings that's why he kept on working hard and I know for sure that BI is with him while he works hard. From even before WIN era, hanbin has always watch over his members, he just doesn't preach about hard work and dedication, he always sets himself as an example. He just doesn't order or ask the members to do something, he stays with them and learn with them. And this is one of BI's leadership quality that I appreciate the most. Aside from being multi talented in many areas, he is also a hardworker and for those who had follow these kids since the very beginning, you can tell that Hanbin has always put the team before himself, one of the reasons why IKON's teamwork is one of the best in kpop today.

All iKON members know what's up, especially BI who is the composer of their songs. It is nice to see that they're so comfortable with each other, and understand each other the most. All iKON members want to see each other shine the most, and for the members who gets the least lines, I feel proud that they don't feel discouraged but is more motivated to improve more. BI knows all his members' weaknesses and strengths, especially Chanwoo, who got the least training in iKON. Until now, BI still monitors Chanwoo's practices and rehearsal, they even do a one-on-one mentoring. That's how much BI wants Chanwoo to be at his best. On the other side, Chanwoo is so appreciative and is really willing to learn and improve much more for his sake and for the sake of iKON. I love iKON so much T_T

I think they are talking/asking about members who have lesser lines on songs or something related to that, then Chanwoo and Yunghyeong raised their hands then Doni n' Coni asked B.I. who are the members he is most sorry/apologetic about. Tbh it's kinda sad that some people especially those who are not a fan accused hanbin for being greedy and unfair with the line distribution. I'm pretty sure he work hard to make every member shine on their own but we also have to realise it's also about timing. For example for this album i think donghyuk really steal the spotlight and he shine the most. I'm pretty sure for next comeback it will be yoyo and chanwoo. But at the same time, I also understand why some people feel upset about it especially chanwoo stan. But let's look at the bright side. I think chanwoo have more lines this time compared to other ikon releases. Maybe it will be better next time. I just hope he will get more chance to show his vocal and maybe hanbin could have more trust in chanwoo.
Hanbin always give Chanwoo and Yunhyeong the highlight of the songs, in love scenario double B and Double J has the same lyrics throughout the whole song but Yunhyeong and Chanwoo has their own lines and can only be heard once throughout the whole song which makes people more curious about them and you can also observe it in the choreo, in yoyo's part they lined up and pose while yoyo is the only one who moves that gives him the attention of the audience and Chanwoo is always in front in the choreo. Hanbin really is trying to make his members shine in their own part. And Sooner or later IKON will rise until there is no one that can resist them like their sunbae Bigbang 😊
I wish people would stop hating or complaining on BI. let's be honest here for a minute, regardless of your biases. Chanwoo need to improve his live singing, he has a nice tone, but he is still unstable when performing live, Yoyo's voice sometimes cracks during live, but he has more lines in their B-sides songs. Do you think it's easy for BI too? for those who have followed IKON since their teamB days, you should know how BI put the team even before himself, always thinking of protecting the team, always thinking on how to make his members shine more by giving them the parts that suit them more. I'm very much a chanwoo bias (I love all the boys) and I definetely want him to have more lines in title songs b/c his voice is perfect and it's beautiful to hear (i love his part i Hug Me). However I understand hanbin's position and the pressure on him to make a hit song. I'll be patient cuz I know the day will come when Chanwoo has more parts in title songs. Don't stress about it too much Hanbin! (We all know how he can get worried about these things) :)
chanwoo has more rooms for improvement. I understand BI though, Chanwoo isn't that stable especially Iive compared to the others which is understandable because he trained less. DANGYUNHAJI.. Hanbin knows them better than anyone else.. they're growing up and working really hard together..even if they don't talk or just by simply looking at each other they can tell specially Hanbinnie.. But honestly, ChanWoo has great potential in rapping he just need a greater chance or opportunity to prove himself and Double B can really help him with that..Yoyo on the other hand has improved a lot with his dancing skills ang singing..i never felt bad about their line distributions..they know,HE know better and i always believe and will definitely support them..they're one of the most and best kpop group with sincere and genuine brotherhood.. this kind of issue is nothing although Hanbin really felt bad about it..they understand..

B.I even wrote some songs just for vocals, he and Bobby barely have line in Perfect. We iKONIC know iKON and our boys so please stop complaining about line distribution, DK was just Lalidada in Airplane and he shines in this comeback. I don't want to compare, but even bigbang had a bad line distribution during made album (i forgot what song exactly, sober or we like to party(?)) that daesung only got 1 lines, like literally just 1 sentence from 3 or 4 minutes of that song. Some of VIP disappoint just a little (at that time) but that doesn't mean we jump to the conclusion that "GD hate daesung" I understand what yoyo, donghyuk, and especially chanwoo stan wants, but just a reminder that ikon only been in kpop like 2 years. They have a loooong way to go, so give it a time... Maybe in the next comeback yoyo or chanwoo will get their time just like this comeback that donghyuk finally get his time to shine. Hanbin distributed the lines according to their strengths and what suit them the most. Yoyo have many lines in the other songs, it's just that in love scenario, he only got the last parts, but In their order songs he has more lines. I don't think Hanbin purposely give lesser lines to Chanwoo. I also understand why Chanwoo stans are upset. I think Hanbin was apologetic to Chanwoo because as the leader and composer for the group, other than Chanwoo, he's the most aware of Chanwoo's weaknesses. Chanwoo understands that too hence, he said "I will work harder." They both acknowledge the situation and they both know what should be done because at the end of the day, the goal is to produce a high quality song. Hanbin will always prioritize quality over feelings that's why although he wants to give Chanwoo more lines, he can't do so because even if Chanwoo improved a lot, he's still lacking compared to the others. In addition, giving Chanwoo lines that is not suitable for his voice just for the sake of line distribution can be detrimental to Chanwoo because he won't be able to shine and be at his best. Both of them understand that. This is why Chanwoo and Hanbin portrayed a great leader-member relationship here. UGH. My love for this group has no bounds.

I honestly think that Hanbin is just waiting for the day that Chanwoo will be able to take whatever part he gives him. It's so obvious that all members want him to shine as much as Chanwoo wants to. More than the fans, the member wants to see their maknae shine too. They always encourage him to take all opportunities given to him such as in interviews and the likes.
Preach! More people need to see this and understand exactly why you can't always give everyone equal line distributions when clearly each member has their own style of singing/rapping that might not necessarily suit the song.

my thoughts exactly. As much as Chanwoo has improved, his live singing isn't that stable yet and he lacks in some area compared to the others. Hanbin is mostly torn and I feel for him, as the leader he wants to give everyone the same equal parts, but as a producer, as a musician, he has to think about the outcome of the song itself. He knows his members weaknesses, he knows of their strengy, he knows of their capabilities and what sound suits them the most.The members know it, too. they are aware of that. Chanwoo, especially, is aware of his limit and lackings that's why he kept on working hard and I know for sure that BI is with him while he works hard. From even before WIN era, hanbin has always watch over his members, he just doesn't preach about hard work and dedication, he always sets himself as an example. He just doesn't order or ask the members to do something, he stays with them and learn with them. And this is one of BI's leadership quality that I appreciate the most. Aside from being multi talented in many areas, he is also a hardworker and for those who had follow these kids since the very beginning, you can tell that Hanbin has always put the team before himself, one of the reasons why IKON's teamwork is one of the best in kpop today.

All iKON members know what's up, especially BI who is the composer of their songs. It is nice to see that they're so comfortable with each other, and understand each other the most. All iKON members want to see each other shine the most, and for the members who gets the least lines, I feel proud that they don't feel discouraged but is more motivated to improve more. BI knows all his members' weaknesses and strengths, especially Chanwoo, who got the least training in iKON. Until now, BI still monitors Chanwoo's practices and rehearsal, they even do a one-on-one mentoring. That's how much BI wants Chanwoo to be at his best. On the other side, Chanwoo is so appreciative and is really willing to learn and improve much more for his sake and for the sake of iKON. I love iKON so much T_T

Tbh it's kinda sad that some people especially those who are not a fan accused hanbin for being greedy and unfair with the line distribution. I'm pretty sure he work hard to make every member shine on their own but we also have to realise it's also about timing. For example for this album i think donghyuk really steal the spotlight and he shine the most. I'm pretty sure for next comeback it will be yoyo and chanwoo.
But at the same time, I also understand why some people feel upset about it especially chanwoo stan. But let's look at the bright side. I think chanwoo have more lines this time compared to other ikon releases. Maybe it will be better next time. I just hope he will get more chance to show his vocal and maybe hanbin could have more trust in chanwoo.

Hanbin always give Chanwoo and Yunhyeong the highlight of the songs, in love scenario double B and Double J has the same lyrics throughout the whole song but Yunhyeong and Chanwoo has their own lines and can only be heard once throughout the whole song which makes people more curious about them and you can also observe it in the choreo, in yoyo's part they lined up and pose while yoyo is the only one who moves that gives him the attention of the audience and Chanwoo is always in front in the choreo. Hanbin really is trying to make his members shine in their own part. And Sooner or later IKON will rise until there is no one that can resist them like their sunbae Bigbang 😊

I wish people would stop hating or complaining on BI. let's be honest here for a minute, regardless of your biases. Chanwoo need to improve his live singing, he has a nice tone, but he is still unstable when performing live, Yoyo's voice sometimes cracks during live, but he has more lines in their B-sides songs. Do you think it's easy for BI too? for those who have followed IKON since their teamB days, you should know how BI put the team even before himself, always thinking of protecting the team, always thinking on how to make his members shine more by giving them the parts that suit them more. Always working hard, setting a fine example for the things he preaches. He always works so hard even foregoing sleep so that he could give IKON good songs to be approved by YG, spending his time in the recording studio. I'm very much a chanwoo bias (I love all the boys) and I definetely want him to have more lines in title songs b/c his voice is perfect and it's beautiful to hear (i love his part i Hug Me). However I understand hanbin's position and the pressure on him to make a hit song. I'll be patient cuz I know the day will come when Chanwoo has more parts in title songs. Don't stress about it too much Hanbin! (We all know how he can get worried about these things) :)

The emcee asks the members if they agree with BI but no one responded thats why they all laugh. BI said that someone should at least agree with him specially June, but June just remain silent and laugh as well. The emcee then makes BI turn around and asks the members who is upset with the line distribution and thats the time, Chanwoo and Yunhyeong raises hand.
The emcee then asks BI who he feels sorry for the line distribution, he says Chanwoo, and the emcess says "and.." BI says Yunhyeong and make everyone laugh because he guess it correctly.

I'm a vip but also YG stan. I don't want to compare, but even bigbang had a bad line distribution during made album (i forgot what song exactly, sober or we like to party(?)) that daesung only got 1 lines, like literally just 1 sentence from 3 or 4 minutes of that song. Some of VIP disappoint just a little (at that time) but that doesn't mean we jump to the conclusion that "GD hate daesung"
I understand what yoyo, donghyuk, and especially chanwoo stan wants, but just a reminder that ikon only been in kpop like 2 years. They have a loooong way to go, so give it a time... Maybe in the next comeback yoyo or chanwoo will get their time just like this comeback that donghyuk finally get his time to shine. Just put our trust to hanbin 100% 😊
