There are some parts of PoE that are truly only enjoyable by watching somebody else do it, and Ruthless is most certainly one of them for me. Always a joy to watch!

I love that streamers finally play Ruthless. Best activity for viewers, can see actual gameplay and not zoom zoom blob of looting while everything dies instantly.

Now that I think about it, Ruthless is essentially playing a grand adventure game within DnD, starting from scratch. It's a lot like a traditional adventure game, where survival is the top priority. Personally, I haven't settled on a main character yet, but I've leveled so many alternatives that my inventory is overflowing with unique items. I enjoy having an easy time leveling occasionally, but the thrill of survival and strategic planning is truly captivating. Great video, I really appreciated that aspect of your gaming side. Only thing now is that caster builds since this patch launched are overlooked tremendously. I friggin hate Ice nova of Frostbolts and every time I read it as words, I feel I'm penalised somehow :P

Ruthless is fine for like 7-11 days, but then you need to play an action game. Path of exile's concept, incremental power doesn't jive well with an ultra ultra slow game mode. Even Kripp has said this is just GGG being adversarial towards it's consumer base
Well, the big test would be how PoE 2 fares, as it is even more ruthless than Ruthless itself.

It's a great way to play tbh. I should point out you had a very lucky start, but I'm sure it will even out ;)
you don't need to be freeze immune, just don't get hit. Seriously, invest in evasion AND play ranged build that how I played my 1link bow into t3 maps. 3L get me to yellow and got 5L into reds, but no filter hiding is BS so i stopped. And I didn't even had move ability back then.

there is Replica Trypanon Great Mallet 100% crit but -5000acc , if u play RT is ok :D or if u can stack acc
accuracy won't matter if you're playing spells which you'd probably be doing with battlemage also good luck getting replica trypanon in ruthless xdd

@@HEXZ0R- the nodes are modified in ruthless as you see towards the start of the video, not sure what he uses to see the comparison of nodes but poeplanner shows the modified ruthless notes, so does pob.

It will be interesting to see. I dont mind slower gameplay if it wasnt so heavily relient on rng and itemization. Having more than one active skill and something like 2-4 support skills that constantly need to be used doesnt sound great. Also health reset on bosses is a major change. Crippling the players that already have a tough time.
It let poe1 get rid of Chris Wilson and the game has only improved since, just let that garbage rot in poe2 and let's enjoy poe1.
