I m putting here to bring to your notice. At the beginning of video you said "Active _______ing (present) and passive ________ed/irregular (past). I could not catch with this concept. When to use __ing or __ed participles? In other words, why didn't you use " Dressing in his class A uniform, Marine looked like a recruitment poster. Is it that (active form) adjective/adverb clause gets reduced to ____ing participle and passive form of adjective/adverb clause get reduced to __ed participle ? what is principle(rule) to choose between these participles ? Please help clarify this one to me. Once again thank you Adam. I have bought all your e-books, truly enriched material. Thanks for that as well.
The best way to understand is to break them into independent sentences or into different parts of a sentence. Understanding each parts would help you to understand any sentence.
