I was invading at RL25 with +3 weapons and it was probably the most fun I've ever had in this game. Plenty of OP phantoms but their health gets nerfed into the ground, plus it feels great when you embarrass these lv250 dudes in endgame gear dropping 20k runes. Probably not a great place to start PVP, but definitely a fun bracket to experiment with.
No shade but I find that weird. I can’t imagine playing games in front of my kids without including them. I would much rather spend time with my kids playing games than play by myself.
You're a menace with that jar cannon, also glad that you found out about the glowstones. You know what else is really fun? The Rainbow stone tipped arrows. You can barrage them into the enemy, and they'll light up like a Christmas tree xD
Speaking of Elden Ring themed builds, my Jester uses those arrows! She's a boss co-op build for Godrick, and once victory is assured, I barrage rainbow arrows into him as a flex. Also, it looks pretty when Godrick rolls around with a bunch of them stuck in him!
@@amberhernandez A co-op build for just one boss? Wow! I think these days I just go for RL125's for dueling and RL150+ for invasions/CoOp/continuous play.
@@monsieurdorgat6864 It's between that, or opening up effigies near bosses. I've no desire to traverse the open world given my experiences with low-level players, hahaha!
@@amberhernandez Yeah I don't think open world traversal online is something particularly good in ER unless you're joshin' around with people watching your stream or something like that. Way too slow. Low level online has managed to be both non-existent and cancerous 😕super cancerous invaders and ganks, almost no co-op players. Huge oof. Definitely wouldn't want to play online below RL125 for anything.
One thing I really miss from Dks3 was the dedicated invasion covenants. It was nice to just slap on a covenant symbol when I wanted to pvp and get into all sorts of trouble. I mean the invading system in ER is pretty similar but the odds of having an invader ally are just so rare since someone has to be intentionally tonguing. I just thought of something as I was clicking away but what if they added another auto summon ring like the blue and white ones? Where you would get summoned as a co-invader if an invader was outnumbered by at least 3 people. It might be too strong tbh but i think that would be so neat to pop in and assist your fellow invaders.
Lvl 70 +12 weapons is a good place to start and stay for that matter. Take time to maximize your build with all of the talismans you need and get all of the flask stuff and you will be successful. You will learn how to get out of bad situations and fight on your terms
I would say that I really enjoyed playing on high Rune levels, around RL 200 is the most calm invasions I ever had, because almost every player does the same to each other. On RL 125 shit started to get serious, there’s a lot of players playing and almost everybody knows how to PVP properly. It is fun most of the time since you get to learn most of the mechanics of PVP, but also of how to improve your abilities to overcome certain scenarios (3vs1 invasions) And on RL 70 (in which I’m currently playing on) has been the most exciting lvl I have played, there is a lot of stuff you can do, you can start making proper builds without requiring for anything but your RL points, but not everything is so good, there is also this problems with the Over-leveled Phantoms that are a pain in the ass, but most of them are just Dumb Canons that only use the strongest weapon they could find in UA-cam Click-Bait videos to kill you. I agree with what you said in your video
the sl 25 guy got a point, been grinding out sl 10 no upgrade myself to see how it is, its certainly fucked but very doable to fight "twinks" with a minimal setup. theres just something about how limiting lower level brackets are that makes them so fun to play at.
I essentially invade just above meta level out of its range 168 but will invade with STR builds at 94 +19 (below meta level/max upgrade). While overleveled phantoms are a bit tougher than at meta it’s not a massive difference especially if running str due to physical defence bonuses. It also allows you to invade down and avoid first step meta snipe ganks.
I've been trying my damn hardest to shill level 168 on this platform. Less fogwalls, less intentional ganks, more level variety, and people are actually trying to progress at level 168. You completely dodge the disgusting stuff.
I enjoy 40-50 because you can have a build going in the right track and there’s not a ton of wizard spam. Over leveled phantoms start to be a problem closer to 50, but they’re easier to deal with than at 10-20.
For some reason I thought you were going to tell us the best location to try invading, which feels especially funny because this game isn't broken up into levels. Sometimes I'm a little slow, hahah.
Level 20 and +3/+1, twink your way to 4 talisman slots With soreseals pretty much anything is viable except bleed arcane As long as you're not in the overworld or a dead level phantoms are fine
I'd agree for dueling whether sign or arena, Invading is definitely better sub meta though, there's just too much damage from ganks. I think especially a new player will prefer lower level invading
5:00 now that sounds an awful lot like wrestling to me. maybe try imagining magics in ganks as the steel chair that is for some reason just under the ring lol.
