Have been using Apple Watch for a few years, but never knew some of features you very nicely demonstrated in your UA-cam . Well done. I learnt a lot and would love to see you publish a guide document for users like me in near future. Congratulation for such an explicit work !!
How about tips for using the Apple iWatch when it's in "airplane mode" (or when it's not connected to cellular or wifi signals), which happens to me a lot? A video on this topic would be very useful. It can do a ton of stuff in airplane mode, including heartbeat, blood oxygen, ECG, steps walked, etc. -- not to mention that you have a flashlight, timer, stopwatch, all your many watchfaces, etc.
Is there any possible way to stop music from downloading from your iPhone into your Apple Watch? Yes I know you can delete the tunes from your Apple Watch but then they are automatically deleted from the iPhone. I just want to stop them from getting added in all together.
Amazing features. I just setup an older SE for the first time for a friend. I'm a Android user that finally is ready to move to apple for the best smart watch experience. Wearables are the next frontier of innovation for phones.
I thought the ultra had the setting for not starting activities as soon as you press it on your watch, ie like the Garmin does when it searches for the GPS first then allows you to start when you’re ready?
I think with Watch OS 10, that ability to increase or decrease the brightness manually is no longer an option but, I would be happy to see someone prove me wrong. 😁
Thanks! I received my Ultra 3 days ago … read a lot, watched some YT … still over 1/2 of these I did not know. I had a series 4, changed to a Garmin Quatix in 2020 and now back to apple primarily for the safety features and ability to use it independent of my iPhone. I am 68, live and walk/snowshoe with my dog in rural NW Montana. The Ultra persuaded me (along with safety) for its flat screen: love the aesthetic as well as the operation. I am used too a very large watch and have large wrists so size not an issue for me. Thanks for all of the tips!!
Wow, thanks very much. My Doctor just put me on new blood pressure medicine and I supposed to not take the medicine if my heart rate goes to a certain low point. It looks like I can set that up!
I know this video is about the ultra apple watch😊😊, but another really cool feature on the series 8 watch if not all (in my opinion) is the walkie talkie feature. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😮😮😮😮
Great video! I love the navigation on the watch. It allows me to not have to keep the maps up on my phone. I didn’t know what the little vibrations meant other than it’s time to turn so that’s helpful.
Do you know a way to add or remove old racer routes. I started mine a year ago and they are short compared to the routes I ride now, and would like to extend or make new ones, but can find a way. Any Ideas?
I would like to turn on my torch simply. That is I awake at night and want to light my path. But that means I have to put my spectacles on touch the side and then scroll to the torch icon then tap that Is this possible?please. I enjoyed the other stuff. Thanks
I can’t mirror my Apple Watch screen to the iPhone that I’m using. I’m actually wondering how to mirror my Apple Watch to the phone because the mirror Apple Watch feature is not in Settings. I don’t see it anywhere.
And apple has the audacity to launch a “new” feature to pinch/tap to answer and take pics when it’s already been available. Glad I found this because that feature is awesome.
i like Double tap better than gestures. Why would they put a feature like gestures but hit the accessibility feature that has more functionality O_o Im so confused. They just added a cool feature on the outside vs learning how to use the watch.
Concerning your opening statement there’s NO argument. The Apple Watch is bought more often than any other brand. Followed by Samsung. The sales figures confirm that.
Why are Apple plugging that you can now touch your fingers to control your watch, when all you need to do is go to Accessability settings?! What a rip off!
The audio cues with pitch of the “turn signal” sound are different for left and right navigation also. High - low, left. Low - High, right.
Hey, Pete, thanks for those tips. They are great; keep up the hard work. Cheers.
I have a SE >have gone to accessibility> but sadly cant find mirror apple watch😢 Thank you for the really helpful video.
Wait, what’s the difference between quick action and the new gesture on the new Apple Watch then?
I love to answer call on iPhone from the Watch. Super convenient

+1. I use mine in airplane mode almost exclusively.
Answer phone and put on hold is SO smart. No. 2 has to be clicking fingers to take photos. I film cormorants in trees with my phone on a pole...

I like that to turn left it's two taps here and there but to turn right it's TWELVE CONTINUOUS TAPS.
finally, a few tips & tricks that no one else has covered. thanks a lot.
Gestures vs action quick tap ? Always display on vs off ? Useful video. Also reminded me of few things there
Amazing features. I just setup an older SE for the first time for a friend. I'm a Android user that finally is ready to move to apple for the best smart watch experience. Wearables are the next frontier of innovation for phones.
Although I knew most of these still found it a great reminder video. I didn’t know the quick action option for assistive touch so thanks for that!

I think you’re right
How you configure to open the doors with voice commands? I can do it from my Iphone, but the watch doesnt know about the same voice commands...

Great video. I’ve had my AWU for several months now and some of these features I didn’t know about.
How can I easily get the torch to switch on so I can do it in the night without having to bring up the options. I have to put spectacles on to do this
I just ordered my apple ultra watch. Thank u for the tips. But i notice that the assistant touch gesture feature is also on the galaxy watch 5
What is the maximum number of medication reminders you can set on it?
Wow, thanks very much. My Doctor just put me on new blood pressure medicine and I supposed to not take the medicine if my heart rate goes to a certain low point. It looks like I can set that up!
How do you set up Haptics only on the Ultra 2 watch? It appears I am not able to disable the alarm sound option.
Does the “use crown to increase brightness” also work on the SE? Or only on the always on versions of the watch?
I have the first gen SE and yes it works for me
Does all of this work with the Apple Watch SE?
Are all these features available on the Apple Watch Series 7?
Why doesn’t my light flash when I hold down find my phone on my ultra 2 🤔
new youtuber in the arena i willl be with you ❤❤❤❤
Hi Pete How did you get the medications? Is it an app Hi from 🇦🇺 Australia

Learned something new on my new Apple Watch 9, thanks. 😎
Thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed that these features are not generic
You can write messages and send by using the microphone 🎤 on keyboard .
Do you know a way to add or remove old racer routes. I started mine a year ago and they are short compared to the routes I ride now, and would like to extend or make new ones, but can find a way. Any Ideas?
wow I never thought apple watch has these features
The video says features work on any apple watch however some of the features mentioned do not apply to the SE
What apple watch do u ues for your everyday watch?

Awesome to hear - and thank you! :)
Does quick action work on the Apple Watch SE?
Can’t find Apple Watch screen mirroring in accessibility!!!slso can’t find keyboard on my se 2
Nice tips thank you, but why do you go thru them so fast hard to follow.
Sorry Russell - I've been told I'm a fast talker!
Try slowing the video down to 0.5x perhaps? 😬
Thank you for sharing
Tip function is not available on watchos 10 😢
Booo!
Great video of information....Thanks
How are you using a keyboard ?
Would love it if you would use time markers / chapters
Will get this sorted, I thought we had them already!
What is the maximum medication reminders you can set on this watch?
It’s really hard to pick a favorite when you have an Apple Watch SE not many of the futures are on my watch😂
I can’t mirror my Apple Watch screen to the iPhone that I’m using. I’m actually wondering how to mirror my Apple Watch to the phone because the mirror Apple Watch feature is not in Settings. I don’t see it anywhere.
Not seeing it under accessibility?
great tips
So two or three taps for left and 12 for right? Why not just 2 and 3 or something 12 is a bit excessive lol
A very good point! 🤣
I never even knew they told you directions so at least I know what their for now
Pretty sure it’s so you don’t have to worry about keeping that close of count if the thing just keeps going you know it’s right
Which watch face are. you using?
🤯🤯🤯 Thee most useful wearable video yet! Thanks Pete!
Isnt that the new feature called double tap? 0:44
And apple has the audacity to launch a “new” feature to pinch/tap to answer and take pics when it’s already been available. Glad I found this because that feature is awesome.
Many of the features you are showing do not exist on the latest softwear on the Swedish model...
Holding the alert button and the flash showing up
Pete, you didn’t make it clear that not all these features are available on the SE.
Super useful tips, thanks.

What if u don’t have the mirroring option I have an iPhone 11 both devices are up to date
I think this feature is specific to the iPhone 14 line
Which feature is YOUR favourite?
It's probably the first one! I wish I still had my apple watch 8 😢
@@WillTech- what happened

It had a major problem and Apple said they couldn’t fix it. So I would have to buy a new one
Definitely controling with gesture controls
Excellent
Some of these don’t work on Watch SE.
YOU ~ ROCK ! !
The text part got me 😂
Gonna have to come back to this video once I have an apple watch 😅
I hate that Apple and Nike don’t sell the white and black Nike sports band seen at 2:03
Thanks for sharing this incredible tips have a fantastic day ❤
Great stuff!
Why do you guys have such a fast narration. PLEASE SLOW DOWN Sheeeeech !!!!
They like that nowadays
i learned like half of these just fiddiling around with my watch the day I got it
Thing is, most people don't spend the time doing that!
Ok so basically i need to understand why mine doesent have normal keyboard only scribble
Americans have a tip button in their calculator 😹😹😭😭
Only hipsters. Everyone just tips $5.00 here and with the quality of modern service 98% of them are lucky to get that.
I’m an American, didn’t know this and it’s HILARIOUS…. And also not surprising.
I feel used and abused 😢
I don’t tip so the jokes on them
Too fast🙄
Swiping is the way to go
Concerning your opening statement there’s NO argument. The Apple Watch is bought more often than any other brand. Followed by Samsung. The sales figures confirm that.
Hah! Very true. Just trying to please the Apple haters amongst my audience 🤣
I like how Apple doesn’t tell us all these features in the user manual
🤣
It is simply too many
The Apple watch is not _arguably_ the most popular smart watch in the world. *Actually the Apple watch is the most popular watch on the planet.*
The planet we live on is the world, also known as Earth
My only complaint with smart watches is if you have tattoos it limits some of the features the watch has. Wish I would have know this before buying.
Put a clear epoxy sticker over the sensors on the watch and it’ll work with tattoos just fine.
Laughs in a resting heart rate of 48 bpm 😂
Great info but please don’t talk that fast!
