Welcome to the new construction site. A little insight into this building site. Here we have to build a new access road and a parking lot for cars and buses. There is a school nearby and there is no place for the buses to stop when the children go on excursions and outings. Therefore, a new road will be built so that buses can go around this building.
I'll explain a little bit what I'm doing. Maybe someone will find it useful and more interesting to watch. ✅ Turn on automatic subtitles to understand what I'm talking about.

Those look like Steelwrist joysticks, but you don't have a tilt rotator. are those available direct from volvo?
Yes, that's how this excavator was with these joysticks when I started working with it.

Hello ! very interesting video. Thank you for your effort. I have a question : I've seen you obtain the depth from the monitor, but how do you dig the side ? only at graphically viewing the small monitor, trying to match the graphic ?
I look for the edge of the excavator bucket on the tablet.It is also possible to set each side of the bucket as the main one. And then you can see the edge, because if you put the bucket outside the border, it will be shown on the tablet that you are outside the border of the project.
